The Tally

Meh, didn't do much. Luckily was able to reactivate for a month, though! Still, made about 6 million influence on Grey Pilgrim for just about 90 minutes of playing. Had fun fighting a Rikti Pylon (stalemate) and level 54 mobs while waiting for a spot to open up on DC's Borea train.

My tally?
1 million prestige
500 million infamy
dominator 23 -> 32
Corrupter 18 -> 28

Sadly i was so focused on the prestige earning portion that was way more anti-social than i had wanted. I had planned on making one day of villian (friday), one day of Endless Cimerora missions (Saturday), and one day of hero (sunday). But I got to go to a Tool concert which just put in a "just lay-out and enjoy the weekend" mood.

Since it hasn't been commented on around here, I'm going to guess most haven't seen this; understandable since the digests don't work.

Oh for the love of...

*Goes to bang head on wall* Market's not going to get much time to calm down.

In a way, that makes me glad I don't have any urgent projects in the works.

[edit: How ironic is that, extra double-XP and I'm partially glad I don't have other projects due to market prices. Is that messed up or what?]

That's kind of.....unfortunate. Didn't really hear about much for stability issues, in game or out. Either way, I don't really see how it's needed, much less necessary.

I've noticed Dbl XP really has an unpleasant effect on a lot of various people. It's almost feverish.

Ironically, I think the presence of AE has really destroyed the market supply, from what i've heard from the market channels and personal experience all supplies are being eaten up as soon as its put up at reasonable prices. Gargus has actually made close to 50 million on commons and uncommons just by trying to complete his patron arc. I placed everything at 10inf on the market.

Prediction: Stock up on everything prior to late evening tonight, its going to get worse this weekend.

Why worse this weekend? Shouldn't things improve a tad until I16 comes out (that may actually help the AE problem, as people will be able to stack their regular missions... though maybe not, as you can do that for AE as well... maybe. If they're smart, they should only put that feature into regular missions, heh).

All the people were too busy XPing to slot out their characters. I think the theory is they'll do that work this weekend.

I ran one AE arc on Double XP weekend and got enough tickets to get 6 bronze rolls. I used other tickets to get the salvage I needed and built them and so far have netted about 22 million off a few missions worth of effort (with some of the items still currently unsold...including one that should sell in the 15-20 million range).

Other than that, I made a killing off of selling common salvage and off of level 25-40 common IOs last weekend.

Arc# 92382 -- "The S.P.I.D.E.R. and the Tyrant" -- Ninjas! Robots! Praetorians! It's totally epic! Play it now!

Arc # 316340 -- "Husk" -- Azuria loses something, a young woman harbors a dark secret, and the fate of the world is in your hands.

Well, I think the thing of it is, you don't get any random drops that you are more interested in selling than using while farming the AE. You get tickets that you trade in for more specific drops, but fewer I think. You don't get any random salvage at all unless you trade in some tickets for it.

Eh, I don't know about that. If memory serves, prices are ridiculous during the event and in the days after, but things steadily get better as time progresses. Mathematic Proofs are back to giving a measely amount of money, common salvage is still more expensive but not as bad. We'll see how it goes this weekend, I guess, but I rarely try to get things right away anymore. Prices spike at times in the market, but you can keep track of how much it should cost and wait, if you're patient. You can still get things for normal prices now if you wait... I've been putting in normal bids or just slightly higher than normal, and they go through after awhile.

I've been mostly running my 35+ characters this week, as I generally don't make the higher level recipes, so I can sell off the salvage for nice profits. I still can't believe I made about 4-6 million (wish I could remember my starting amount) on Wednesday with my Isos villain just by selling all the salvage that dropped that night. I don't think I had any rare salvage, either: just uncommon and a bunch of common.

AE puts out more recipes (pool A and some pool C, not many pool B) and at various levels which is good. It however does severely cut down on salvage (which is bad). So AE coupled with "I must have it NAO!" is to blame for 100-200k common savage. But in general, you can get a lot more recipes for cheaper than you used to be able to. Common IOs going for 500k-700k, that's just double xp talking.
