Defiant was ghosttown even during DXP?

I was leveling my Union Stalker, because I never get into groups with it (or rather, fate mocks me and people ask me to group with them just as I'm logging out >< )
I was busy with other stuff on Saturday... my Nana's 90th B'day party for instance.
But TBH I don't think DXP is worth much these days, especially if like me you level with patrol XP anyway... I got no more levels this week end than I'd have got without DXP. Now if it stacked with Patrol XP... a)I'd have played more b)Got more out of what I did play.
As it is I'm feeling a break until i16/GR coming on. Getting bored of the whole she-bang atm. 
I was out this weekend, other wise id have been working my Defiant characters. It was a pity x2 XP was on a weekend where i wasnt going to be in, or have any access to COH
Normally the x2 XP brings plenty teaming accross the servers. Sorry to hear that Defiant was quieter then normal for this x2 XP event.

I was over on Union the whole weekend, taking my villains (or 8 of them anyway) from level 14 to level 16 something, solo. The last time they got any attention was around a year ago when it was double xp also. And while I *could* get almost as much xp using patrol xp, the mission complete bonus isn't increased there like it is with double xp. Doing patrol missions in Bloody Bay (limiting myself to one an hour per character up to the max of three) almost got me a full bar of xp each time which I then followed up with the missions for the Wanted and Agent Provocateur badges.
I spent early morning Saturday on Defiant, levelling my Ill/Rad controller.
Spent most of the weekend on Union though.

Its odd, in some ways I thought it was quite quiet but in others it wasn't
I was on defiant for most the weekend (bar a couple of hours on Union) and didn't have much trouble finding either PuGs or teams with my SG. But that was mostly in the afternoon/evening.
Also RWZ actually had to spawn a RWZ2 Sunday evening which must indicate that quite a few people were on.
And remember AE was giving DXP so I know a few people were in there as well.
One thing I did notice and I haven't seen mentioned anywhere was that CO started a lot of new Closed Beta entries this weekend so that could explain it as well.
And it is Summer, people are generally out more/away more during this time.

I didn't have trouble finding a team. Not at all. But that's personal experience like all of you...

Hi all. Finally I get in the new forum. Logging in was so painful. Oh my this is ugly forum 
Well perhaps we still survive.
But I like smaller server. Defiant is just great. 200 players is enough and good. I get just a few minutes when get my ITF team full. No problems at all. And I get almost max level for my rad/rad

Wend out for half an hour, left myself in AE mode and I had 7 different people asking me to join their teams when I got back (had over 10 messages from one of them who obviously really needed my scrapper for some reason or other I guess)
That's more than I would get normally so I assume DXP increased people teaming if not people online, or something

well.. it at least enhanced the already impossible fast power leveling to astronomical levels. So looking for an AE team is a way to get invites yes.

I didn't say was looking for an AE team, just that I logged off half way through a mission and thanks to the TF code wasn't booted. Normally when I get back from spending time away like that I've had a couple of messages from friends and nothing else. But this time had randoms asking me to team.
Sure may have been more people looking for fillers, but was still more people on.
I know someone that's moved from the US back to defiant because both servers dont have people looking for teams anymore, at least on defiant he enjoys the global company more. The US server has a much higher poulation.
So for less teams on DXP weekend I would blame the stupidity of the AE's implimentation rather than the population on any of the servers

Ok, i mostly was hanging around US this weekend, but the times i logged into Defiant it was freaking scary quiet. With villains not topping 150 players and hero's still leading with 187 (saterday, 10pm).
Even sunday, afternoon 5pm, heroes never made it to 200 players, and this gets quite scary.
Is union snatching all of our players now?
