Reminds FFM that the Rednames were out partying at ComicCon, and are a little worse for wear...

I expect normal / better than normal service to resume after the 72 hour forum outage / merge that starts tomorrow...

Yeah, I know. Done it plenty of times myself (one of the good things about having a wife is that she can remember all the important stuff!)

Now we have to wait to see what the Dev's memories are like to see if they remember to post info before and during (using that twitter thing or whatever) the downtime.

I'm hoping that this will happen although I don't see it done before GR's been with us for a while. Mind you, if CO and DCUO poaches a large part of CoX's playerbase, I wouldn't be surprised at server merges, as well as having access to EU and US designated servers.

Of course there won't be. Maybe a hasty post ten minutes before the boards close down which will be useless since I can't see them at work.

And then I'll have the joy of logging in on Friday to find I'm GenericPoster345865. Sorry Rednames, I'm feeling pretty cynical right now and this wall of silence is not encouraging.

NCSoft can quite easily send out e-mails to the entire player base - no forum doesn't mean no info
