As interesting as Claws may look on a stone brute I think that its quite good on an Invuln, Invincible having +tohit sure would help connecting with follow up. I'd probably give tier 1 and tier 9 of the claws set a miss and maybe more due to good rechg bur definately have spin for taking out the minions who buffed your defense after you dps down the boss. I think the lack of -def on Villains makes the Inv Brute look good as well.

I was thinking I would go with WP cause when playing my Claw/WP scrapper my thought way "the only way this could be more fun would be with Fury" though Inv is also a consideration

You could consider Elec i have a claws/elec stalker and while he's not the greatest of toons he's fun to play and i suspect that he would function even better as a claws/elec brute
Am thinking of my /elec scrapper being claws, I am starting to run out of ideas for new scrappers though

I'm probably going to go with Invun. Got a Claws/WP scrapper (who's been left in limbo in his 30s due to excessive Bruting) and a DM/WP Brute so I don't want to go the WP route again.
Stone just seems a bit Urrgh, don't think I could play it on a Brute.
Claws/Elec sounds fun as well though and conceptually could work.
I agree. Stone on a brute is so... unbrutish. 
But elec... well, colour it green, get Vanguard claws and go Rikti hunting! 
But since claws do not have any particular syinergies to consider any armour set would probably work somehow.

I have a claws/SR scrapper and would say it's a good choice ...
... but i plan to make a claws/fire brute ! - i have just to find a good RP reason ^^
Claws/Invuln should be fun, Claws/Elec should be awesome
I'm planning on making a Claws brute in issue 16, but I'm a bit undecided what to pair it with.
I did think of SR, but my main is a +def type, and a few others as well, so I would prefer a resistance based set.
I alreay have a WP scrapper, so I was thinking maybe Invurability, or Stone.
Any thoughts?
