Posi announcement thursday!

Things i'll now be doing in issue 16:

Getting an AR/traps defender.
Make a MA/regen scrapper [maybe willpower] with the new MA animations.
An elec scrapper [i love the elec animations!]
Change the colour/costume of every single character and their powers i have ingame

All the new content is going to be in Going Rogue... Which is a kick to the crotch of anyone who doesn't actually BUY Going Rogue for whatever reason.

Think it means when you create a new character, the entire selection of AT/powers/origin etc is all on the one page

that part confusing me to as says jump directly between Archetype , which makes me think you can change from blaster to say a tank , then to a scrapper and the like ??

Or is it me just misreading it as AT to me is Tank, scrapper, Blaster, defender etc etc...

I think it means that you can switch between the screens from AT/Power Selection/Costume Creator/ID freely without losing what you already did.

I read it as allowing you to swap sets and AT's during the creation phase of your character, nothing more. Instead of having to go back several pages.

Er... can't you do that already???

I'm I'm sure i've rolled a toon, chosen origin, scosen AT, selected powers desided on size, sex and build, spent half an hour on a cossie, then another half an hour on the name and bio only to hit finished and get "name already exists on server" (or whatever) to then have to create a new name, thus a new bio, which means some tweaking of the cossie and swaping the origin, and going back through, apart from having to re-click the powers, my size, sex, build, cossie and ID info have all stayed as i clicked back through!

Well this has gotten me excited!

One reason I love CoX is the sheer amount of customisation, and now they've up'd it even more!

Plus I've got some of the power proliferations I want:
* Cold Dom for 'trollers
* Arch/TA for corruptors
* Traps and AR for 'fenders
* Electric Melee for tanks

If only they had proliferated dark miasma for 'trollers

Like there was in i14? A few piddly PvP changes for a system no bugger uses anymore...

Bet you 10 million inf there will be no additional content in the form of mission, story arcs, trials or task forces in issue 16.

I read it as being able to change your AT powers whilst levelling your character.

It's totally unlike Posi to mislead us of course... (war walls coming down, being able to damage the environment etc - both of which were technically true but not what we expected and very limited)

So my guess is if you create a blaster (for the sake of argument an Elec/Energy) and at lvl 34 you decide that you wish you'd taken Energy/Elec you could swap the power sets within the AT.

I don't think you could go from being an Elec Blaster to an Elec Tank tho

I think it means you can skip all the origin/power selection and hop straight into costume creating.

Well I understand that people like to make their toons pretty, but I dont really care about cossies and colours and Im sure Im not alone. This is the reason I dont buy add ons/booster packs, because I view them as fluff that will not add to my enjoyment of the game (imo).

Im pleased to see that so many posters are excited about this. It always nice when something creates a bit of a buzz in the game... but can we put a rush on the demon summoning and dual pistols please, for those of us not so interested in looking good and like the game for actual game play? (Strange I know)

Wonder if the difficulty settings will work in MA.

Will be fun to finally be able to farm anything without having to run a whole team.

So making a claws brute.

I hope you can use a non-colour to make powers look like they don't have an aura. SS with no aura would be awesome.
