Operation MA 50
They said they're gonna deal "harshly" with the exploiters!
Now, just removing "that" critter isn't very harsh, now is it?
but to be honest, don't know, don't care!
Oh: Btw got from lvl 29-34 in one go with an XP pacted alt. It's pretty funny. Being a dom, auto-lk'd it's even useful!

My gripe about MA is that it makes hyper farming very easy.
This isn't good for the game at all - IMHO - of course.

The best thing about the farming of MA missions, for me, is the fact that I've not had one single email pestering me about paying money for farming/PL - though most likely unintentionally, by making farming accessible to everyone they've made farming profitable to no-one - except possibly, themselves.
If it keeps the spam out of my inbox, I'm all for it.

This is indeed an interesting side effect...why bother paying for a PL when they're so easily obtainable just by heading to the MA and playing.
I suspect it may have actually put a bit of a dent in particular companies offering PL services, also with the massive price drop on recipes except the most expensive ones (Purples and the Uniques) it doesn't cost much to outfit a toon anymore either.

A real showstopper!
Shame the cost of common high level salvage has gone through the roof. Get back to the deamons you lot....

This. It also works really, really well when crafting, as each pool is quite small. Roll a bit, make things, sell any stuff you didn't need at a huge profit.

I just had that happen twice in a row. Or rather i got the recipe and already had the exact salvage to make it.
For those in the know it really has reduced the cost of outfitting a toon in anything but non-purples/uniques by half if not more!

TBH the easiest and safest method of stopping single mob farming would be to check custom groups for a safe balance of types, and add a encounter option so you can pick specific single spawns for exact encounters. Then the mobs will contain minions, lts and bosses as they do in the normal game.* Any other method will either drastically reduce the amount of users (dropping level of rewards) or drastically reduce the amount of arcs (reducing mobs).
*EG: currently if you add a single mob from a custom group its picked seemingly at random, which is one of the reasons you need to make single mob groups. If any instance when you need single mobs for story telling purposes you get tell the editor to add a single mob from a larger group that would help.
As for the rest they won't remove all farming for MA without removing rewards altogether which surely would remove 90% of the populations reason for using it.

I personally bet NCs gonna do some data digging and kick people back to level 1 or harsher for this, which would of course be stupid since they're not cheating, just using what's there. I still bet they're gonna do something evil like that.

What makes you think that? Did they do anything like that with Winter Lords, or other past too-fast XP problems?
They don't like PLing, I would assume, because people get bored and stop playing sooner. You know pretty much anyone they did that to would stop subscribing, so it'd be very counter-productive.
