True, but history suggests that if you give us something to be enthusiastic about, we'll be enthusiastic.
If they give us what they have, then pop over and find us all going "Er, meh." then is that entirely our fault?
While I like every single addition on that list, and the much needed MA browser updates, I too am underwhelmed that the issue seems so small.
I can only assume there will either be another announcement, or hope this is just a "rushed out" issue to be near the anniversary, to be quickly followed by an announcement of the big content issue we've been led to believe is coming SOON! (TM).
I can't believe the Devs would again break their I12 promise of powerset proliferation in at least every other issue - I forgave I14 as it was basically I13 part 2, but this... 
And as much as I appreciate the TFs/SFs, no new arcs and no new zone is saddening. The hero TF sounds somewhat like the return of Reichsman, but if this happens without a Boomtown revamp or connected arc content then colour me disappointed.

Liked this issue... I was wanting new faces for a long time and finally we will get it. More costume change emotes also a fine touch. Well, as i am not a big fun of Council and their stupid bases TF doesn't get me excited.
Some new shinny powers would be nice... well we will see them in future issues i hope.

Well, I'm agreeing with FFM.
I've played this game since launch, I've loved it to bits, I've got at least 4 different people to play the game on my recommendation, including my wife and have always championed (sic) it.
But I'm getting bored to tears with unfulfilled promises and same old same old. CO might not be perfect and I have a couple of issues with it, but unless there is something major coming in I15 that we don't know about, I too will end up leaving.
Where's the new zones? What about the building work in Steel for the past few issues??
What about new powersets? There's more than enough suggestions coming from the players to give the devs ideas. Dual Pistols has been begged for for long enough as an example.
This anniversary event is, well, naff. I'm stood in Unioon Atlas right now, 2 winter lords and eochai just spawned, people are fighting it and I'm bored. I'm so unimpressed. I've fought all of these about a million times. We couldn't even get one new GM? What about the big metal robots from the ITF? We couldn't get something like to excite us?

But I'd imagine that today of all days GR and Avatea may be communicating with the devs (when they're in work) to organise the test server appearance - so it's not even required that the devs themselves read the boards.
I'd guess it's more than likely that War Witch will be one of the 'couple of devs' anyway - and she appears to have a better record than most for reading/posting on the EU boards. You gotta love Canadians.

Actually, I've never threatened to leave before, and I'm not threatening now. I'm merely saying that, unless Posi has something interesting to tell us in the address, unless he can tell us that something is coming in the NEAR future that makes me feel rewarded for my 52 months of loyalty, then the game no longer holds enough interest for me to stay. Simple. I'll give their competition my money instead. This is not a threat, it's a statement of intent.
If they don't want to retain some of their most loyal customers, that's their loss. Not particularly good business given the current state of the world market though, is it?

The waiting is a mere excuse for your boredom of this game. Why do people want new sets? They got bored with the old ones. Why do people want new content? They got bored with the old stuff.
Whats the use of spamming around you lost faith in this game or its devs, that it aint is what it was, that you will go if they add only this?
Then go, go happy play another game, do whatever you please.. but keep spamming here will get you _no where_.
Every MMO has a vast content, in wich the players have to enjoy themselfs. The longer you are here, the less happy you get with additional stuff, the more you hope to get stuff, the bigger the dissapointment.
How i all mock those ex-wow players, AoC DAH BOMB, no more boring grind or [censored] content, UBER AOC!! (CoH vs CO). Oh oh oh, how i mocked those a year later, a [censored] 'the grass is always greener at the neighbours' popped my mind instantly.
Yes, i left this game several times, although i settled in the US server now, breaks for a few months help alot getting back fun into playing this game. Maybe you should do the same.
And for loyalty, i have 2 48+ accounts, 1 13months and a 9 months, i own every CE available from NCsoft, but even today, it was worth every single euro. The game may got less, the community may got less, but the friends i met will always counter that.

FFM i think for once i actually agree with u .... whilst i wont leave til something better comes out, my love for the game finally left when all u ssee now is badgers and stupid prunes who dont know how to farm ... farm MA. that was the final nail in the coffin for me.... Whilst saying this it cant really get ne worse than what it is now it should've never got to this place in the first place.... now that is the Dev's fault. they think they can fix things by oooohhhh loook a shiny new badge or an inane fix .... I have been struggling with the game lately, I admit, but I was hoping for more than both the event and I15. Can only come to the conclusion that the Devs have been promised jobs at Cryptic, as they are doing a great job advertising for that game.

For my case I already cancelled my subscription back in September and had it run out in December. At the moment I'm on a 1-month timecard from an old Good vs. Evil box to check out the Mission Architect. The announced I15 isn't going to make me resubscribe.

Had been planning to wait and see whether Posi's announcement was unexpectedly good, but can always reactivate if that turns out to be a winner.

1) I'm not an old player. I don't care about CO. I probably not going anywhere any time soon. I love every bit of MA, bugs, farms and all.
I'm still disappointed by the size of announced features in I15. It seriously should be bigger than just a new TF and SF. New zone, or dozen of story arcs, or TFs for level ranges currently not having TFs or having a censored ones... Of course, if this issue would be here before summer, just a new TF and cossie/MA goodies are OK, but for a full issue? Correct me if I'm wrong but before every issue either added a major faction/zone with their arcs and TFs, new game subsystem, or something along these lines.

you've never ever seen me threaten to leave before but like many others here, I will be out that door unless Posi and the Devs do something much more positive than rehashed content and current I15.
By the time I15 hits Paragon Studios won't have a captive audience - and we've been promised time and time again that something special will be arriving then but I15... that ain't special enough.

I joined roughly issue 6 time and up to issue 11, there was nowhere near the amount of bad feelings as there is now. That was because there was nonstop content/free costumes.
Do you remember the "happy feelings" people had when everybody was trying to work out what the "eyes glow green" teases were and the faultline/RWZ revamps came around? People LOVED those because it seemed they took actual care in those missions/zones.
Now the majority of us accepted that issue 12/13 didnt have much content wise due to the fact that they were in a period of transition with training new staff up, we even had one of their mission designer "testing missions" in the form of midnight squad arcs. Now we've had over a YEAR waiting for some REAL content (not QOL) with over a year of the promise that issue 15 is going to be the "big one".
If this one fails then as much as i love this game, i cant see it recovering from it. A lot of people have said that their subs depend on this issue coming so i hope they get it right.

I still enjoy the gameplay here more than any other MMO out there I've trialled/subscribed-to, and while that continues I won't be quitting.
I still feel a little disappointed by the content list for I15 - in other MMOs I'd have been satisfied with that as a free content update - only EQ2 that I've played has matched CoH/V in quantity and quality of their free content updates (as well as churning out tons of paid-for content updates too) - but I didn't enjoy the gameplay like I do here. Ironically Blizzard delivered zero new content in the 6 months I played WoW and the playerbase were already moaning of not many additions post-BC when I joined.
The problem I see here is that the CoH/V Devs at NCNC-that-was set such high standards for themselves in the issues they produced when they only had 15 or so Devs. It is their own fault that we expect so much more now - after all, in this last year they have bragged about:
- new capital investment into the game
- doubling (perhaps even tripling) the size of the Dev team
- their rebranding as Paragon Studios and commitment to the future of this game
They've promised big things and delivered one big thing - the MA, which while fantastic seems lacking in the implementation (not just technically, but in what it is doing to the rest of the game and the community), but they've failed to deliver on the smaller promises (such as powerset proliferation every other issue) that matter to the playerbase.
Through this last year of staffing up and reinvestment all we've seen is less content each issue, long gaps between issues, more bugs that take longer to fix, more maintenance downtime, the EU studio/support being slashed in size, and now the gradual deterioration that all this is causing within the community. Usually those are indicators of a long-in-the-tooth MMO gradually winding down and on life support with skeletal staffing, not of an MMO being supposedly reinvested in.
Tbh they had better be working on CoH2 or a graphics update and paid expansion, or what the heck have all those new staff been doing?
