Hmm similiar to what i guessed but not what i planned tho'. So this brings me to the second hypothesis: there are more vampire types than one. The one you explained is more msytical than what i had in my mind.
Things are so scattered around in my mind but if i can give some basic lines:
-Vampirism ain't a curse totaly, not for Sheperd and his minions at least. It is some kind of molecular mutation caused by some kind of virus. If we try to link this to your idea.. maybe they are lower vampires. If your idea including exchange of blood between vampire and victim like most vampire myths we can assume Sheperd and his bloodline is some kind of unintended vampirish creatures.
- Because of their mutation sun light is deadly to the Sheperd-line vampires... just like Krytonite to Superman. No turning into dust but their blood leaves their body repeadly in any way it can find. Religionous items have no power on them either but divine spells and creatures have, like Hymne.
- Newly vampires can't directly feed from blood instead they eat other beings... other new vampires included. In years they can control their feeding process.
- Vampires like sheperd gains power from their followers, a part of life force each of their lowlings consume makes leader stronger. Only know vampire who can make lowlings so far is Sheperd and it requires being one with the victim in many ways.
- Vampires can eat normal food or drink but that cause them to use effort to digest, so they need blood more often
- There are some semi-vampires exist via mutation, like Araf who is a psychic vampire (His kinetics powers represents that). This has nothing to do with vampirism but just an outcome of mutation on humans.
- Vampires' bodily functions doesn't work like normal human, everything controlled directly by brain (like circulation of blood in body). So a vampire's brain is it's weakest point. Thanks to their mutation/undead status they are immune to normal means of psychic manipulations. Also all vampires has some kind of psychic manifestations and effect human brain easily. Humans/mutants who can gain some sort of control over vampire brains can't use their powers normally on humans. Slightest telepathic contact with humans cause severe pain in victim.
- If a pregnant woman become a vampire, she can give birth to the children nonetheless. Only known one so far is Midnight Curse and his mother. Curse's father was a werewolf and as his mother gave birth to him while she is a vampire, he is a half werewolf/ half vampire creature who hates any kind of damned anchestors to the dead. Curse transforms that animalish creature whenever he is near a damned creature (werewolf or vampire races. Also one of the Marissa's plan is having his son's children in order to have much stronger army than his master)
- One werewolf clan is working under the Sheperd, the Blood Trackers. Curse's mother, Marissa is the only one who can control any kind of werewolf mentally.
I think that is all i can conjure up from top of my head for now. This difference also made a good point for the hate between Liz and Sheperd whose i thought crossed paths several times in the past.

Well i think GG has a point. To be honest i still can't find a way to satisfy me about Unlimited GG. At some points i am even thinking about Faerunian Golden Elf like looks... i think i will find a way... i hope

Well i think my talent, if i had any, flew out of window. Weekend attempts turned into disasters which i can't dare to post in here.
Here is my only lookable picture featuring Golden Girl. I think i will go with golden hair idea. Have no idea about how i will color her hairs into a golden look tho'.
Anyway as i am not feeling well today, i can't say more for now. I hate my migraine.

Thanks for critics mates. Yeah i am aware of that winking eye not look like really winking. I used a chic winking(the one usually stars use on some pictures and preventing wrinkles on their faces which looks so fake) but still i am not satisfied with winking nonetheless. So i will open her other eye (by copying and mirroring open eye to other side of her face) possibly during coloring process.
Now i need more luck or concentration because i will do something i didn't do since my childhood... will draw an animal. I draw as long as i remember myself and my childhood pictures was all about animals and they were my heroes. Later replaced by super heroes but still love animals, especially the one i will try to draw. I hope that love will be enough to do a good work.
Also as i feel better (yay, that pills worked) i can make some comment on GG and Liz's picture.
First of all, Mess you are right GG's costume resembles WW and Captain America in some ways but as i wanted give her an American Flag like cossie this one is the best i can conjure up before getting too close to WW or Captain. You and Neko missed the greatest mistake of the picture tho'. Her feet doesn't fit into paper i was drawing... my bad orientation... and i am really sorry for that.
About Liz's picture. First of all i had doubts it will satisfy Liz. On that picture Liz was looking too young and with a night dress i gave her she was more looking like an old movie star than a vampiress. Also she was resembling a heroine or a neutral character at best... not a bloody vampire.
Maybe i better collect all links on first post later as i am such a motor-mouth and keep talking and talking. 
Chiming in on the wink thing, if you look at yourself in the mirror and wink, 3 things are noticeable (observe and feel the muscles on your face):
1- the eyebrows aren't on the same level.
2- the lower eyelid of the closed eye is pushed upwards
3- following the lower eyelid, the side of the mouth goes up as well.

I should say that the wonder woman comment wasn't a crit just more of a observation
As for the feet thing i wouldn't get to hung up about it, it used to beg me when i would draw something and not have space to fit in feet/legs/arm but then i realized you don't always need to fit these things in, just look at some of the work on deviant art,concept art etc and you'll see plenty of pieces many by professionals that are missing feet etc.
However if you do decided to add feet at a later stage consider rollers skates as there's just something about the pose that screams roller skates to me.
LOL! I love roller-skates idea. Possibly that comes from the pose owner, the only Princess of Pop, Kylie Minogue.
Well another one done between my works. I think my office desk is my lucky desk (oh and i have lucky papers and pencil ).
I liked how i came up with lioness on the picture. Not perfect but still i am almost satisfied with the result. God! I love lions.
As for our very own Purple Alice Cat, i always dreamed Alice someone resembles Susan Sarandon. Beautiful, graceful and elegant (There is a great share of the player mind you). I hope i can capture that in her picture.
Also another thing of importance is, Alice is the first one of the heroes really go beyond the game. In game Alice is a Ice/Ice blaster but in Unlimited version she is a shape-shifter. A woman who has a power of turning into a big purple cat (lioness or tigeress). She is the lion-tamer of the Circus as she can speak with animals. In picture she is with her favorite friend (not named her as i want Mrs. Mereman to name her ).

Vampires in COX are non-excistent. So I worked out how they are in here. There will be an arc explaining the thing.
Basically I figured that the real mystical vampires are a bit underground. The council uses their blood to create the Vampyri though. The pseudo-vampires you fight all the time.
Powers by right for a mystical vampire are Dark Melee/Regeneration/Fly Brute. Liz is a witch too... making her a Necromancy/Dark Miasma/Fly/Leadership/Soul Master Mind. But I also have her as a Dark Blast/Pain Domination/Fly Corruptor and a Dark Blast/Dark Miasma/Fly/Leadership/Dark Defender. In my 'Rise of the Blood Countess: The Undead life' she appears as a Dark Melee/Dark Miasma/Fly.
In character I mostly cling to the way Bram Stoker explains the vampire. A dead yet walking creature. Living by emotion and on the blood of the living. It needs blood to survive as the vampire can't tolerate normal food anymore. The digesting system is dead.
The vampire can walk around during the day... but it is not a comfortable environment. And he/she will be severly weakened. Often wearing sunglasses to protect eyes that are not used to sunlight anymore.
Powers include regeneration, unhumanly physical strength, fly/hover, walking on walls, transformation (to bat and/or wolf), turning to mist, hiding in shadows, commanding the lower creatures of the earth. Some have such a powerful mind they can control human brains. A form of mental control often based on lust.
To taste the blood will create some sort of mental link between the vampire and the victum that can span countries. The vampire's bloodlust will make him/her smell blood and recognise it. Like an animal.
But the vampire is linked to the soil that it was burried in. A regular regenrative process is needed. This will only occur when he/she is in contact with this soil. For that the grave they rest in at least a few times a week is filled with it.
The vampire will show physical old age if they allow such as they will rejuvinate their body when drinking blood.
Elizabeth is a woman who enjoys pain and suffering but is highly educated. She can blend in in parties and talks several languages fluently. She is a vain woman though. Still going for the blood bath's she believes help her skin. These days it really does as the blood rejuvinates her.
Hope this small essay helps. I keep this as cannon for Rp-ing my vampire... and most of the Court also keeps to this.
