I have *never* had something like that happen to me... not unless i didnt see the Kronos Titan bearing down behind me whilst i helping out a newer player >.>

Same thing happened to me trying to hunt skyraider engineers in Striga, how to attracted their attention without mashing them to a tiny little SR pulp. Thought Id use my bow and arrow temp, sadly it went clean through the engineers chest. Poor little guy didnt have a chance.
You sir have used a copyrighted quote pertaining ownership to a Mr. Stanley Lee / Marvel comics LTD, all uses of such copyrighted material require permission from the said copyright holder. If you have not gained permission to use the said material then please be aware legal action may well be taken, your superhero license, spandex, secret base, hero mobile and sidekick privileges will be confiscated/suspended until further notice.

Reminds me of playing on my scrapper after finishing getting Raver throwing out Call of the Wolf and wondering why a taunt was one shotting the mobs. Then I checked and realised I had Chance for Psi proc slotted so you see even Taunt isn't immume to this effect.

Well, half of GG spends at least some time on the Rogue Isles, where Longbow are a bunch of self-appointed, annoying, irresponsible psychos, or they think that the Longbow presence in the city is clearly part of Ms Liberty's plan to take over the city government. Or works a lot for Vanguard, so Longbow probably have them on the 'to be kept an eye on, works with villains' list.
So, really, it's pretty easy to justify doing more or less anything to them.

You mean - you haven't been in the Vanguard against the Rikti? It won't help Paragon if that power plant goes up.

So, I turned up at Galaxy Girl last night for my regular evening's RP, as usual, and there was this annoying Longbow standing on the plinth, right where I wanted to sit. These guys are ALWAYS getting in the way, so I decided to lure some mobs over to make him go away. Note that I was on my level 50 PB.
Now the bugger is a mess on the ground, and all his mates have run away. OK, they eventually came back and pulled the Longbow off the plinth, but still! I'm a roleplayer you know, so that was all in character! 
Looking through my list of powers, I couldn't immediately spot anything that wouldn't kill a mob on sight, and then I spotted a temp power "Rock". Yay! I think to myself, that'll get some attention without killing the mob.
So I chucked it at a nearby Hellion, being fairly confident that the Rock was like the Snowball, and didn't actually DO any damage... Silly me!
"You hit Blood Brother Slicer for 438.66 points of Smashing Damage"
Oops! Slight overkill methinks!
I mentioned it to a few friends a little later and Zortel, bless her heart, says:
