With me having far less time to read the forums (on both sides of the pond!) being a lot less, when I see a thread start turning into a whine-fest or a [censored] session, I stop reading it. If it keeps up, I might do spot checks again a week or so later, but in general, my days of reading every single post on a given topic are gone. Part of me mourns that; another part is relieved.

Its a pity with so little time on his hands he chose to make time for a trivial badge over pvp which a lot of people are upset about.
It's kind of a comfort to me that I now know he won't bother reading any more of this thread.

Yeh well i tried constructive feedback and got completely ignored so what have i got to lose?
wow a badge wow just wow, wow really im lost for words wow. such a big deal over a badge 1 badge just wow, really does show where the devs piroties lay... nt fixing the game but fixing a badge, just wow im mean wow jeesh good on you devs bringing yet another reason for thsceptics to slate you well done /slow clap

oh btw what a waste of man hours, its amazing what u can do with x amount of hours free and Castle thats the biggest bunch of tosh ive read .... If u would have listened to the true avid PvPers not the datamining stats, your would have realised that what u did was wrong and u would have tried to make the old PvP better by imporving it not by completely destroying it ... Reading is a wonderful thing

I agree, once they realised the error they should have just put their hands up and left it alone. It's only a badge, it's not exactly game breaking but stopping anyone else getting it merely means that people have no chance of catching up with badge hunters who were lucky enough to get it early. It's like playing football, the opposition scores then promptly takes their goal away so you have no chance.

Hmm, when does a thread start becoming a whine-fest? When it covers things that you don't personally agree with?
If lots of people are saying one thing and you're saying something different, maybe it's time to sit up and listen.
Hi Calamity, I'm another person who gets bored with whiney posts, but to me a whiney post is one that states exactly the same thing in a badly constructed way ad infinitum.
I've found recently that it also includes posts moaning about a completely irrelevant situation in other threads (e.g. Waaah! Teh devs killed PvP, why's they fixin' badges? Or Waaaah! Teh devs killed PvP why's they bringing out new features when they could be fixing it? Or the old favourite, Teh servers are dying...oh noes! They may all have valid arguments, but there are relevant threads for them...
I don't ignore the rest of thread, but I do just skim over them.
I think though that this news about the reformed badge is a good thing, once again it shows that the devs DO listen, maybe not as much as everyone wants, but they do, and I think this can only be good for the future of the game.
Sorry for the rant!
