because of all the ski trails knocking me back, the time i did with a lvl 6 blaster is lower then it could've bin.
i'm on 53 sec.

I managed 56 seconds on the 'advanced' track. I only mention this here so if anyone asks I'll remember what the number was.

have you guys try using this setup?
Sprint - 4x run
Swift - 4x run
Combat Jumping - 4x jump
Superspeed - 4x run
Hurdle - 4x jump
Super Jump - 4x jump
i use this setup and i manage to get gold... all it will take abit of time to get a hang of it but you can get gold on both slopes with this setup...i even try to post a video of me doing it with this setup
1:01.50 on my first attempt on the new toboggan slope, with Speed Boost and unslotted Sprint.
1:17.25 with fly and no external buffs, the time I got a SB I was slower 
1:18.88

New course seems impossible, can't get anywhere near gold for that one.

Thanks to Shiftbreak spamming IR and SB all evening and a few racers to give me some fighting spirit, I got a best of
00:24.88 on the old course. Cigar!
00:50.50 on the new course. Close, but no cigar...

I used the dual build and went 6 slotted Super speed, Swift and oone of the standard run powers, I forget which.
ALso took aid other for 2 account heal badge farming too so I can get the heal badges on my Tank badge toon without relying on tricky gladiator fights. Im thinking of doing this on the rescue Stateman mission with one toon taking damage in lava and healing him...

Must be because:
I made a time of 1:07!!!! and got my first bronze. Inconceivable! I never expected to be able do this. But this is a happy happy joy moment for me.
No travel powers or even sprint on because the harder i go the faster i fly of the track But i will try those soon and perhaps i can get silver
This is a milestone for me as i never managed to do this on the expert ski slope or even the bunny slope. 
Somehow I managed to get a gold in both with the Chosen One...no buffs just sprint and SJ, still don't understand how but I'm not gonna argue after the amount of attempts I tried..

Got my new fastest time on defiant this evening. It was 40.38sec on the Tobogan Run. .38secs and someone will owe me 30 mill inf. If noone can confirm this time I do have a screenie of this. Did this on my GFs account and the name is Jodpod.
Old Slope: 17:75 SJ&Sprint (no outside buffs) Blaster
16.13 SJ&SS&Sprint (no oustide buffs) MM
New Slope: 46 secs, but should get faster with a bit more practice.
Advanced - new personal best of 45:00 (actually not using any SB this time, only SS+CJ+IR, oh and Sprint) ^^
OK, after a little messing about last night, the funniest thing imaginable on the advanced slope?
A Peacebringer in Drwarf form hurtling down the track after being SB'd! Apparently, I made a fellow SG member fall off the track in hysterics!
Perfect control too, as you actually run down instead of slide. On my first try like that I got 1:05. I think 3 SB's and I can get the gold like that no problem.
