I recognise some of them, I think it's a part of Kings Row, although a few of them.. Never seen 'em before. Perhaps the previously talked about graphics upgrade?
I am the Blaster, I have filled the role of Tank, Controller and Defender
Sometimes all at once.
Union EU player! Pip pip, tally ho, top hats and tea etc etc
while on subject, is that atlas globe on the right?
Looks kinda like a shot of a REAL city skyline to me... Somewhat misleading...

Nah. The building on the lower left hand side is definitely from within game. It's the one on the right I don't recognise (although, if it wasn't so stretched out, it could be a COH city building...
I'd prefer to speculate on a new zone/graphics update though

It does seem to be Atlas Park after seeing it in full

The building around the globe looks nothing like City Hall and the park appears to have green grass or trees on it, rather than a flood of people spamming "PL me".
It's not Atlas Park. Maybe bits of it, but not it.
There's also lots of buildings in the picture that I don't recognise - a few that I do though.

doubtful this is anything to do with an upgrade of graphics (sadly) much more likely is that this is just the artists interprtation of paragon which he/she created to fit in with the very detailed renders of the heroes.

This sounds about right; just an artists impression of a virtual city.
Well, this is far too complex to be part of a graphics upgrade. Contrast upgrades, real shadows, and some kinda ambient occlusion. Although it'd be AWESOME.
The occlusion effects can be baked into some kinda texture, simulating the effect with only a small bump in RAM needs. The shadows would be awesome, but a bit demanding. I sure hope what we get at least resembles that photo.

Agreed. And the Globe is quite visible as having no person under it holding it up.
If, however, that is Atlas, then we're looking northward from Skyway, with Steel on the distance. I really wish the city did look like that. Notice... no War Walls...

Are you sure? i zoomed up that pic of the globe and it deff looks like the atlas statue to me, you can just see the head of atlas ( pointing the other way, to the left) above the building

If anything, having zoomed in, it looks like the ruined version from RV. I see absolutely no evidence of Atlas under it, and the other buildings around it (as has been said) look nothing like Atlas Park.

All I can say is thank G*d somebody else has noticed this!, My eye was drawn to it straight away as the U.S site went live and its been torturing me ever since with tempting thoughts of zone upgrades.
...but yes, probably just concept art.

Given all the earlier talk of norks, this post just made my head go all funny... so Sister Psyche has a round one on the right, two on the left and another inbetween???
I'm just glad that GG did all the hard research on this...

What the hell is the image on the website supposed to be? There are buildings on it that have never appeared in City Of Heroes or Villains?
So any ideas where they came from? It's not even an amalgamation.
