QoL : Sell all for 10 inf button

I would like to see a button added to the wentworth interface that will empty the remainder of my salvage and recipes and list them all for 10 inf.

It would make it easier clearing the personal storage. I mean most people know what sells for a lot now so after you have sold all the good stuff you could chose to list it for 10inf with one click, I know a lot of people that just lists stuff for 10 inf to sell it.

Maybe have an are you sure prompt for those that are too stupid to be in wentworths but attempt it anyway :P

Wouldnt that have a negative effect also? Would bring a lot of prices down on the cheaper salvage that still sell for 10/20k a piece.

/unsigned (since im one of the people who play the market to earn lotsa money )

@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!

But it wouldnt affect you??? You would not be forced to use it. It would just save a lot of people a lot of time from listing stuff that they do at 10 inf already. It is a right royal pain in the [censored] when you have 80 slots full mid TF and need to get rid of em. A quick glance tells you to check your oranges and yellows, and then all the whites can be added in 1 click. If you dont want to use the feature no one will force you too.

Perhaps there should be a salesperson at the black market instead? Who buys stuff at inflated prices if you really want to get rid of them fast?

Posted

I think you are missing my point. The stuff sells at 10 inf. I just want them out of my personal inventory as fast as possible so I can continue playing the game. It takes a long time to list 70 odd pieces of salvage for 10 inf especially with the aution house lagging up on us aswell.

You say that like it's a bad thing.
If we all sold everything at 10inf then we would all have the sets we want on all of our toons and you wouldn't need 500,000,000 to kit yourself out you could do it for about 50,000. So you wouldn't need to make lots of money in the first place...

All of it is just worth what people will pay.

Smash the system!

Why would you want to unless you were actively trying for the AH badges?

Otherwise, you could just drag them to the nearest shop and sell them for 250 Inf each minimum.

Even though Dragon has a point, so does Astrobear.

Cheap IOs for all!

The inf is not the thing. Even though I list all the items for 10 inf, very few actually sell for 10 inf, most sell for more than the 250 inf offered by a shop. I believe in feeding the market though and would prefer to sell all my salvage there. I just want to be able to sell them as quickly as I could in the shop. Also counting for the badges is nice :P

Well recently the prices for white and yellow have plummeted to as low as 1 inf on heroes. Certainly most go for lower than 100 inf. Orange still go for decent amount but chronal skip and platinum have overtaken hamidon goo for most pricey.

Spell Ink and Masterwork Weapon seem to be back up, possibly because the items remaining have been stewing there since the days of 50,000+ for each.

I know what the original OP means - it would be far easier sometimes to just get rid of salvage en masse. Perhaps an option to create a lucky dip goody bag out of salvage (bundle of salvage is sold for the price we put up) is an option?

I'd go with this idea provided it wasn't fixed at 10 INF. If you could pick the INF you set all prices too then it would suit me. You see I put whites up as 300 so if I could pick the level of INF it might be handy.

Why are you selling stuff at the AHs for 10 Inf? Nothing I have ever gets listed that low. If it won't go for the price I can get from a vendor (and that means 300 Inf or more for Invention Salvage) it doesn't get listed.

I do this so my salvage *does* sell, and it counts towards AH badges. For 1 inf, as a matter of fact

There's two things there:

Badging, yes, I can see that as an excuse. Sell scrap at 1 Inf and get the badges. TBH though, not having much trouble getting them without.

Boring, common invention salvage will get you 250 Inf from any and all vendors. If you right click on a type of Salvage, you get an option to sell the entire stack, you don't need to click 'Sell' multiple times. If you're selling to get rid, that's 240 Inf per item, minimum that you're losing on every transaction.

Yes, you're right, wasn't disagreeing with the Financial Logic, just answering your query as to why people do it. I don't really care about the loss in inf, until i've got 'Power Seller'

Read the OP. Its nothing to do with cash, its speed of emptying the inventory.

Well then, a sell remaining salvage to vendor button would be a considerably better option, wouldn't it?

For you, maybe. The OP listed why he sells to the AH, and why he made the suggestion. -shrug-

Did you actually mean to repost what I said in a quote box, Techy old fruit?

the only problem with this is if they were to implement it you can almost guarantee that within the week there would be a suggestion of a a "are you sure prompt" or a undo button or possible both. as some one would undoubtedly sell something that they didn't want to.

Well if ive read the thread correctly, (I am horribly hungover atm bear with me) Ravens solution is the simplest, if badges are not the issue and money isnt (to a degree) then this works for me.

( EDIT: ok i missed the bit where he stated he wanted to feed the market, but frankly ive never had any trouble getting salvage from the AH for any recipes I need...9 times out of 10 I have what I need floating in the base or the vault but in the odd circumstance ive not noticed a drought of salvage per my requirements)

Myeah. Personally I dont have any problem with the current system...except that sods law dictates that whatever i have to sell is worth carp, and whatever I would like to buy is worth a small goldmine in australia

Which, given the exchange rate, is still worth carp
