Okay, I can't find a link, but every time I think of Richard, I get ZZ Top, Sharp Dressed Man - can someone link me, please?

(Work 'puter won't allow youtube, and iPhone isn't friendly to linking from it)

The wisdom of Shadowe: Ghostraptor: The Shadowe is wise ...; FFM: Shadowe is no longer wise. ; Techbot_Alpha: Also, what Shadowe said. It seems he is still somewhat wise ; Bull Throttle: Shadowe was unwise in this instance...; Rock_Powerfist: in this instance Shadowe is wise.; Techbot_Alpha: Shadowe is very wise *nods*; Zortel: *Quotable line about Shadowe being wise goes here.*

Your wish... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=fW_QCRGvT-g

I'm thinking that would be Richard getting up and dressed of a morning, with lots of preening in a full-length mirror. One of Helena's avatars (or Cass) would be waiting at the mansion door to pop a fresh carnation in his button hole on the way out.

The Scene: Ellie's reunion with Jess after she came back from the dead.

Linkin Park. I think Linkin Park are great. Their last album had more than two songs I like listening to. That's almost unheard of for me.

So, a few Linkin Park ones, if I can think of more than this first one.

The Scene: Richard starts awake in bed beside Cassandra.
The Song: Leave Out All The Rest.

I cannot help but feel that one day Richard may regret some of his choices.

--

The Scene: A bar in the Rogue Isles, with Ni and Libby in their Bambi-esque 'disguise' outfits. A brawl starts.
The Song: Bleed It Out

And Ni will be making sure they do...

---

And not Linkin Park, but, hey ho.

The Scene: Annette's room at the Towers where she has just had a pole dancing pole fitted, and Libby has come to visit.
The Song: Buttons by the Pussycat Dolls

Obviously, for the late-night, after-watershed version of the show.

Hmm... I need a duet for Ni and Annette, and something for Anastasia...

and something for Anastasia...

Actually, I'm being a bit on an idiot. This one's obvious.

The Scene: Unity Tower cafeteria, and Jessica Kade is happily hugging her spoons, patting the cooker, and producing all kinds of fantastic food for the assembled Vigilites. Our camera scans over to a table full of New Vigilants, mostly boys, and their view as Anastasia walks in to go chat to her daughter.
The Song: the slightly rewritten Stacey's Mom by Fountains of Wayne, now titled Jessie's Mom.

The scene: A montage of Commander Union hurtling around Paragon doing rather Superman-esque heroics.
The song: What else but my very own Summon the Heroes

----- Union's finest underachiever -----
Farewell CITY of HEROES
The First, the Last, the One.

Union: @ominousvoice2059

Scene: Efranof stalking around a warehouse full of villains, thinking up a way to mess with their heads before he arrests them, and then..

Song: Hoosiers, Killer. He sneaks around, unseen singing this room to room, making some of the villains disappear at key lines and cackling when one of them runs because of fear.

Scene: Albert Darvek while not possessed walking through the streets when a drug addict comes out of an alleyway with a knife trying to mug him, Albert smirks and sings a slightly altered form of..

Song: Run to the Hills, Iron Maiden. All the while, he slowly warps and transforms, by the end he's fully Darvek and just swats the mugger through a wall then disappears in a flash of demonic lightning.

I am the Blaster, I have filled the role of Tank, Controller and Defender
Sometimes all at once.
Union EU player! Pip pip, tally ho, top hats and tea etc etc

The Scene: Sam and Steve, in their flat, in the front room. Steve singing, sat in a chair, watching Samantha trying to decide what to wear for a night out. She keeps popping in and out of the bedroom, dressed in more and more outrageous outfits.
The Song: Hot Sauce by Thomas Dolby.

"Hot sauce/She's hot and spicy/But twice as nicey/Although she burns me up."

---

Edit to add this. I gotta.

The Scene: Polyhymnia Brown, my Girl Genius semi-crazy scientist (who I have to bring to GG to meet Richard) is first in the queue outside a new shop that's just opened in Steel Canyon.
The Song: The Hardware Store by Weird Al Ynakovic

---

And a melancholy one.

The Scene: Jason Caine sits alone in his flat in Salamanca, a forgotten scotch in his hand, wondering about his ultimate future.
The Song: The Islander by Nightwish.

PS. It's a beautiful song and a great video, I recommend watching it even if you don't like the melancholy use I've put it to.

Scene: Jake 'Iron' Anderson just wandering the streets, hat at a jaunty angle, suit jacket slung over one shoulder, viewing typical city sights: a hero rescuing somebody from the CoT, Freaks and Warriors fighting, Paladin stomping round Kings etc, all culminating in a Rikti invasion.

The song: My Kind of Town by Sinatra.

(With Chicago changed to Paragon, and various place names suitably altered)

Location: Rolando Island, Vigilant Fabrication Center.
Performers: BODICIA (Avatar #84, Main Singer), Fabrication Machinery (Instruments)
Track: Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Instead of the music coming from no where, the sounds the machinery makes in the process of constructing the Vigilants fills in to fit the song. BODICIA in her Vigilant #84 avatar is strolling around, monitoring the situation and adding improving touches to the latest model Vigilants.

Location: Atlas Park, Argosy Industrial District
Performers: Liberty Girl (Singing), Rushmore (Singing)
Track: Rick Derringer - Real American (Yes, Hulk Hogan's Theme)

Liberty Girl is taking Rushmore out on patrol, the two patriotic and stars and stripes clad heroes fighting down a Nemesis operation around a warehouse. Rushmore says the first line to a Fake Nemess, with Liberty Girl joining in at 'You gotta take a stand, it don't help to hide. If you hurt your friends, you hurt my pride" as Rushmore gets knocked down. He gets up and solo sings "I gotta be a man, I can't let it slide." The pair continue singing as they bring the sweet land of Liberty (literally in Rushmore's case) against the Prussian Prince of Automaton's forces.

Well there's only one theme tune I could think of Edward singing while he's 'working'.

Whirling around the laboratory, adjusting various dials, chemical mixtures and tesla coils of his 'dream partner' experiments - Weird science

As a side line, the best cartoon theme tune is Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors sooo much better than the Racoons

Badge Earned: Wing Clipper

A real showstopper!

I have been trying so hard to come up with something to go with this tune and I finally came up with something.

The Scene: Columbia is doing the rounds, kicking bottom and taking names, but where ever she goes, people seem to be singing and periodically, Ni and Libby pop up out of nowehere and do a much better job of wasting the baddies than she does (for the choruses).
The Song: Fake It by Seether. (Which is a great video, well funny, if you haven't seen it.)
