Did you just post that. I congratulate you for your first 50, but coming out and saying Defiant is not dead without any backup is gonna ruin your whole rep, forever.

Well it is alright from a perspective, but really, people will come back for I13 > play it for a while > leave > numbers drop > more "servers are dieing threads > beta for new issue begins and the cycle goes round again.
The content gets too stale after a while and people get bored. The devs really need to think. Also people say "its the same numbers as US" but theres 10 "same pop" servers and theres only 2 here. So basically 150 people on Union and Defiant...150 x 2...300...150 x 10...1500.
See any difference?
be a bit more optimistic, it's a thread about no doom, not a dooms day thread.

I'm just pointing out that that what the OP points out is not a fact - he/she doesn't have the proof. Don't say "but they got 4 good teams this weekend" because I could get waaaaaay more than that. At lowest players I could get at least 8. 4 teams in one weekend is NOT big.

Anyway, there is a simple explanation for the '[censored] US servers is betters lolz!!111'...or bigger, actually;
The USA is a bigger country...Countries....continent.
Europe is smaller.
AND, the maths above is pointless, as all those people *cannot be on the one server as their all on DIFFERENT servers*.

Why dont you go put the map of Europe and the map of USA together. See which one is bigger.
We're comparing their peak times here. So basically the maths isn't useless because if people are happy with the Defiant/Union pop atm then if theyre off to US then they have 10 servers to play with.

I was in Franky and Benny's tonight for my 6th wedding anniversary and it was FULL of people not playing CoH!! 
Gratz on the squiddies mate, have fun with those. 
Personally, I found the PB easier to use in the early levels and the WS got better as he got closer to 50, but try both and see how you get on.
If you ask me I think that this a troll trying to bait people into an argument that has been discussed before and that GhostRaptor has indicated he wants no more discussion of.
Think this is in poor taste and will be notifying a moderator of this thread.

Well I was only trying to put out a point. The post was all well until the metion of "Defiant is very well populated", which I felt was not the right thing to say.
Believe me, I don't want to turn this into a flame war; it's just my opnion, my 2 pence, my inf.
Some of us have opinions about this game that if we air get shot down. Those opinions (I feel) have a sound reason to be discussed, but when such threads are created DOOM is announced and many people ridicule the people putting forward what they feel is a valid point, and derail such threads. I know moderators have posted saying there is nothing wrong, but I seem to remember those in charge saying there was no reason to worry at Northern Rock, and I also seem to remember our illustrious pompus phallus non elect but leader by default saying that we were not going to have a recession. People in charge never admit a problem until it is really apparant and things have to be done. But that is by the by and I will admit things do appear to be a little better at the moment.
When we are asked not to continue posting such threads, which I feel has happened, posts like this appear which seem to be me saying get knotted all of those that have concerns over an aspect of this game that they feel may or may not be in decline.
As a part of the group that is worried that have abided by the request to stop posting regarding that subject I feel that people are now taking pot shots knowing that any replies we may post regarding that will be removed and also that a mob of forum members will decsend upon them.
If the request to stop the posts of people saying something is wrong have stopped due to the request then people should be civil and not post the other way blatently having a pop at those that think differently.
There are many ways that the original post could have been written.........
I have had a fantastic teaming experience this weekend and have dinged 50 etc etc, but no the choice of words and the way with which the thread has been written just implies to me that this post is about making bite and start arguing.
As I said before I have notified a moderator as this I feel has been posted with a view to cause forum disharmony.

Oh, right, so, erm, is saying Defiant is not dead the same as saying slot flash with Damage?

NO, that's a completly different part of it. We're not here to discuss my guides.
He is not responsible for anything, but he is just stating that he thinks Defiant is well and kicking but some don't. Is there a problem with that?
It will only be a while till GR comes and locks, but go away and still remember my opnion and Tuarus'.

I've logged in 4 times this weekend onto Defiant and I've found great teams each time!
This is a time between issues when the servers are usually quieter, and of course with i13 on Test there must be a lot of people over there.
Therefore I must conclude that the Doom threads are Doooomed, and the Devs hate the doomsayers, and Defiant isn't dying!
Seriously, I just wanted to say that I'm having a great, fun weekend and of course the fact that I've just got my PB and WS kinda helps! (Yes, 41 months and I finally get a level 50 hero!)
So remember kiddies - CoX isn't dying, and neither's Defiant. It's a great game and I love it!
