At the moment it looks like its just me that can't make it. Ive sent couple of emails to Stryker trying to find best time for all.
P.S. If I can't fight I want the opportunity at a later date even if its just for giggles and what might have been

This tourny has been organised for a while now, we've all had plenty of time to decide on teams, and toons, and builds, and timescale. I'm not going to go into the toon change you made, because it's dealt with, however we were all aware it would take place weekly, on Sundays, but on the 1st night, afaik your toon wasn't completed, (yes you had a waiver, but if it had gone smoother we could of had more fights) then you announce that you will be away from Sept 15th to the 21st, depending on when you get back, that's another pre-organised Sunday you can't do, and now you say you can't do this Sunday either.
I'm not having a go at all, we all have RL stuff to do, and that has to come 1st, but I'm totally bewildered as to why you signed up knowing you'd be away, and couldn't make fights? And even more so, now you've used your one allowed sub for the entire tourny. =/
(bear in mind it is only this week KS has said you can fight on weekdays if a judge is available, but mass fights are preferred)
Think as far as i'm concerned i'd have to agree with Dirt, I think that's a very valid point.

I'm not supporting either of your arguments but you have to remember this kind of event happens once in a blue moon (2nd time in the history of CoX EU) so its understandable that people really want to participate, even if it means having to make some alterations likes substitutions due to having busy real lives. I'm also well within my rights to chuck in my $0.02. This is a forum, if you've failed to notice, a place for civilised discussion. As this matter is impacting upon several members of my Supergroup I actually feel giving my opinion is quite legible, and is part of my responsibility as the SG Leader to do so.
I agree with you to a point, but sometimes you just gotta say "<bleep> happens, I can't make it, so I won't enter".
You wouldn't make any other arrangements, to have someone else going in your place almost every time. Like if we stick to KSs plan of it being over by the 21st, potentially Max can only make 1 of those fights, (if, as the majority have said they'd prefer, the fights stay on Sundays) and maybe not even that, which is a massive shame for him, I'm not denying that, but at the same time, he knew this before he signed up is all I'm saying/questioning.
Also, knowing he can't make it for these fights, also means the team signed up for it is constantly changing, and can be chosen to suit, something else which is rather unfair one everyone else that has entered.

All i'll say is i think your being a little unfair on max and the team. Yes, maybe he could've organised things a bit better but as Jackal says it's a once in a blue moon event and people enter because it's something special possibly without realising they can't make certain dates.
Just think, if KS was to follow the S4 plan and have only 1 fight every Sunday then all the University starters that have signed up would be out. He however made sure it wouldn't last longer than 3 weeks so that wouldn't happen.
Maybe you guys should try to accommodate Max a little like KS has done for others?

Nothing has been sorted yet. Depends when Stryker's team can fight (waiting on hearing back from him).
P.S. In answer to some of Dirts comments - my toon is ready. It might not be at its best but it doesn't stop it participating and fighting.
With regards to signing up its I am gutted that I am going to miss 1/2 matches in this tournament. However don't try turn this into about me. We all know uni students signed up for this knowing they might not be able to make all the matches (or perhaps complete entire tournament).
I haven't made any comments as to why they have signed up and words fail me as to why you think its best to post questions to me in this topic rather then a pm. The answer for the record is I just want the opportunity to fight the best of the best and have a laugh with my friends.
Now stop worrying about our team and concentrate on your own because I don't want any "Its all a nemesis plot" excuses if we beat you!!!

yet you want to prolong it because you are going away, and in doing this, risking uni ppl having to pull out? Makes no sense at all., and tbh seems a bit selfish, as does signing up to a tourny that you can't fully participate in. And also for the record, we all knew it would be Sundays, and we all knew it would go on past the 15th-21st Sept, and that is all we knew, so when the Uni ppl signed up, they took a chance it would be over before they went back, when you signed up, you did it knowing you wouldn't be able to make fights, that's the difference.
That sounds way harsher than I mean it, but then forums have a nack of doing that, and there is no clearer way of me putting and allowing me to soften it a little. I'm not here to get into an arguement with you, as if you re-read my original post you will see that, but at the same time I didn't join a tourny to see teams mix and match each week as I think it is extremely unfair on all.
Oh and also, it IS all a nemesis plot! And never believe anything different
I wouldn't mind if someone elses fights in max's team as long as they're an empath. Anyways I think it's for the team he's facing to decide.
Just to let you know at the current rate of play with teams being unflexable and able to play any otherday than sunday im not going to be able to complete the event by 21st as i had hoped.
We can do both Saturday and Sunday nights normally, although this Saturday is an exception, due to 1 in our team being out that night (because it was only this week, that the Sundays were changed to Sat and Sun for schedule, he'd already planned ahead), and 2 (I think, or maybe it was only 1) in the team we are fighting that can't make it. I hope this isn't aimed at us, as we aren't being unflexable, we are sticking to what had originally been planned, which is weekend fights, it's just a clash on all parts this Saturday.

After reading through the recent posts and KS's shedule update, Sunday would be the best for me as I wont be back in my home country til Saturday night anyway
