Yeah, no need. I play a nearly no-sets build on my dominator on live servers. This will be a nice place for people to test what a build with full purple sets and finely toned high-level IO sets feels like, also helps get the gap between those with full purples on live and those who don't down a bit. Making it more a competition of skill than grind.

Trying to guess what you were going up against was half the fun! We even made empath spy for us, and scouted the arenas to choose one which the other team weren't at so they wouldn't know what they were against til' we were in the match itself!

You should have seen the files I had on other players and teams, even the french ones had a plan to beat them all, alas the first half of the final one of our players who'd been off playing another game forgot they had 3 power bars not 2 so we got spanked and pulled it back in the last half but not enough. Good times

Haha, the german team we lost to in the BW final had actually changed their team to defeat ours - that's how seriously they'd been spying on us!
Lol its not surprising people get upset when they lose if they take it so seriously. The first S4, i entered with very little planning or thought about the other teams. I enjoyed myself immensely and it was just one big long party.

depends on the situation. Im trying to make this as playable for everyone as possilbe the only exception i would think would be someone unable to play all week. due to work or holiday.
Can you post the finalised rules for level 40 and 21? Just so there is no confusion.

Yes final rules especially for heavyweight would be nice cause there is WAY too much preparation involved for that.If possible plx!

I've managed to get my hand on the rules before anyone else
#1 - The first rule of X4 is, you do not talk about X4.
#2 - The second rule of X4 is, you DO NOT talk about X4.
#3 - If someone says stop, goes limp, taps out, the fight is over.
#4 - Two guys to a fight.
#5 - One fight at a time.
#6 - No shirts, no shoes.
#7 - Fights will go on as long as they have to.
#8 - If this is your first night at X4, you have to fight.

Another thing which I don't think has been mentioned before is the use of accolades. Would those be allowed on BOTH weights? I mean I'd hate to see a lv21 with Portal Jockey, Atlas Medallion and what not.
Ohh and I'm looking for a team for BOTH the lightweight and heavy weight matches. For lightweight I can pretty much roll up any class and level it to 21 in a day. For heavyweight i'd either be a controller or a scrapper.

Just my opinion but in feather division is unlikely to see accolades since most of them are unobtainable at that level but imho shouldnt be allowed.
In heavy if accolades are not allowed expect to see a lot of people drop out cause noone will bother to level to 40 so that they not got accolades (well except me that i aint got em anyway 
)
Temps and Insps should be fine since the matches are way too long (20minutes) to justify insps or temp power restriction.Thats my opinion only of course.
Atlas is easy enough to get without massive effort involved, especially since flashback.

Acclodes are welcome on the Cruise Wieght Division.
havent decided on Feather Wieght yet. Since toons have to be lvl 21 not many toons will have them. So i would probs say no Accolades but let me sleep on it.
Is there an option in the arena to disable accolades btw? just thinking that would be a shame to have to reroll a lv 21 toon because he's picked up Atlas Medalion somewhere along the road.

Atlas Medialion is a very easy accolade to get at 20 . . was gonna get it on my toon but i guess ill wait
