As mentioned several times the level limit is open to discusion and change and since you no longer wish to hear from me I will bow down.
Ignoring the fact I am supposed to be an independant observer of this I will address the issue of impartiality, the impression coming from your posts seems to suggest you think this whole thing is a scheme by KS and as such retribution to "get one over" on vindicate I like to think im friends with some memebers of both SG's, in the intrest of full disclosure I also dislike members of both SG's, but to put it bluntly I'm sorry but get over yourself's your just not that important.
After that comment if it is felt neccesary I will remove myself from all association with the contest.
Hands up all those in favour of level 40 PvP.

Cherry, people's opinions in this thread are not aimed at you personally, no one would have any reason to say anything negative, they are merely raising opinions about some of the rules. I feel this is a forum and a place for people to share opinions and concerns. Some you might agree with, some you won't, just like anything. It's only for the good of the tournament we are making everyone aware of it.
Opinions are fine, it is the reason for this thread, and I'm sure all sensible and constructive comments will be addressed in time, however insinuation that the whole contest is some elaborate scheme of KS's it preposterous, I mean he's a scrapper they aint that bright.

Like i said the reasons provided so far do not really dictate to a level 40 necessity and of course we are raising our objections because level 40 pvp doesnt represent day to day PvP by no means.

Considering we rank pretty high at the moment if not highest having annihilated pretty much everyone in arena matches i would say we have all right to consider all options when powers start being locked out and especially when some of the powers had been part of our tactical choices in matches against the organisers SG.I have personally no beef with KS, i certainly dont have anything to say as a person against him.My concern is purely on a game level.

I would feel safer if you remained associated with the contest but still remains a concern regarding the level 40 choice.
Yeah and calling things "fishy" and so on doesn't help.. 
For heaven's sake, there's no conspiracy... KS thought those restrictions might encourage a more fun and fair competition - maybe he's wrong, but at least he tried. Please keep in mind the rules are still open to change if people wish it!!
Why don't you all discuss it like civilised human beings? As has already been noted by one of the co-organisers, the level limit is open for discussion. So discuss it. Any talk of boycotting the event on the basis of the L40 cap is both premature and lacking respect and gratitude towards those who have already done a lot of hard work making this happen at all.
Getting so worked up over something that is already indicated to be open for discussion and possible change is silly. Yes, I am trash talking you all

Right due to my noob english i will retract the fishy comment and apologise for it.My rest of concerns still stand.
What I was actually doing was trying to ask for a show of hands, an opinion poll if you will, which is probably a mature way of doing it. Alas my pathetic attempts at wit make me look like a fool once again :<

Speaking for the people who aren't in the two SGs on the servers that PvP regularry, I find the lv 40 limit refreshing. Less powers to think about and all in all and allows more slots to individual powers. Also since not all of us have made our villains with PvP in mind, it could be pain to roll a new character (and level to 50 in about 30 days) just to get the optimal patron pool to them. This way we can just copy our suited characters to test and make a pvp build for them and have fun.
Also, if the hardcore pvp groups decide to withdraw from the competition because it's at 40, it might encourage more "casual" groups to participate...

Im not too sure on the 40 cap, Id personally prefer to have it at 50 but I can see both sides of the arguement. At this point in time im just worried about getting a team

I guess the problem with that would be that it's the hardcore pvp:ers are the ones who know for a fact they're going to want to participate. Most of the people I know will probably think it through and make the announcement of participation on the 20th or something. And at that point might be sure whether they want to pvp at 40 or 50.
So a poll at this point will give a very one-sided view of things. And a poll after the registration is over is a bit pointless, since people have already made their teams.

Sure, but especially on villains, there are clear differences between the pvp usability of patron pools, and if I happen to have a more-or-less gimped one on my character for example concept reasons on live servers, I'm stuck with it on the test as well if the competition is held on test. With primaries and secondaries the situation isn't this bad.
There is a difference between having a laugh and having a laugh and watching your corpse because you have been given the short end of the stick not because your skill but the choises you made for some other situation.

A vote on here dosent mean a lot as more dont bother with this forum than do.
I dont think the ratio is representative of the population.
But anyway i vote for raising to 50.
out of intrest how would players feel about the 40/50 question being open to agreement by the 2 opposing team captains, if an agreement can not be reached a best of 3 r/p/s match with the winning captain picking the level limit?
Or would this create to much of an uneven keel to the contest?
I think some kind of voting system would be the most appropriate way of deciding the level that it's carried out at.
