The idea of Unstoppable on a stalker makes me laugh fo some reason. Makes me think of "OK you get one free hit then I can hit you right?" rather than sneaky sneaky

If you are going to worry about concept, Electric Stalkers are pretty dumb too. I'm going to sneek up on you covered in glowie crackly sparks and smelling of ozone.

Other than selecting which power to replace with AS (out of Frost, Freezing Touch or Frozen Aura) I don't see Ice Melee needing any more work to convert than BS. Stalkers can have holds and sleeps now, since they no longer give crits.

It was more the presence of two PBAEs that I was thinking of - I can't see the Devs letting both Ice Patch and Frozen Aura make it onto Stalkers - though both Lightning Rod and Thunder Strike made it onto Elec/ stalkers so I guess anything is possible.
Frost is very short ranged, despite being a cone, so I see no problems with that. Freezing Touch is probably ok as well - other stalker sets have single-target mag3 controls (Touch of Fear, Total Focus), though admittedly the 1sec cast time might make it "too good" in the hands of a stalker.
Who's to say that each AT won't get more than 1 primary and 1 secondary set? They now have 3 power guys working on the game so it is possible we'll get most sets proliferated. I13 is ment to be huge after all ^_^

They said that whilst they would be further proliferation over the coming issues, they would all be much fewer sets than issue 12.

It'd be gradual though, so expect most sets to get proliferated, just not all in i13

Yeah, it makes sense to spread them out over several Issues to keep people coming back for more
It also means they can spend longer on refining them for the other ATs, so there's less likely to be balance problems.

Wonder when we're getting psionic weaponary.. Cause we've had willpower and dual blades. We're getting shields, So surely we must be getting Psionic Weaponary aswell.
I'm pretty sure it was psi weaponary thet got second place for melee set on the vote ages ago.
-I want full power costumation......
But since it has been stated more than once that this wont happen, I would be satisfied with being able to change the color of at least some of the powers. (These pink Pom Poms of energy melee come to my mind). Would give the charas more individuality.
-And maybe an alter ego system.
-Some kind of job class, where you are able to e.g. to convert one salvage into an other (there speaks a former WoW player^^).
Are shields a definite then? I've got my BS/Shields Scrapper concept on standby for exactly that!

They're like 90% certain, I think - the devs have mentioned working on a version for players, not just the Romans.

From what we've heard shields and the base editor improvements are fairly certain for I13, but in game development anything can slip.
The fact the Devs had shields in and working for NPCs in I12 has to mean a large amount of the animation work has already been done (for male and large bodytypes anyway).
But we can't be 100% sure until I13 hits - and I dare say that's a while away yet (late autumn is my guess, Xmas at latest).
Oh the shields, BAB is quite open about working on them, but a "release date" has not been confirmed. Issue 13 seems very likely though.

There may be a way to do /Invun stalkers that isn't completly rubbish. Rather than replace Invincibility with Hide, flag it as "do not inform mobs" which should enable you to use it without breaking hide. Hide replaces Resist Physical Damage instead. You wouldn't even need to reorder the powers that way.
