This REALLY irritates me. If you want rules, go to the arena. If you want to PvP in a PvP zone then don't complain when people are doing things that you don't like.
Most annoying is brutes who complain that my blaster won't stand still and go toe-to-toe with them. As if!
Worse still are the "I'm not here to PvP!" complaints.
As far as I am concerned ... ANYTHING goes in pvp. TP'ing into drones is cheap, but that's about it.
I do think that debt and/or Npc's should be removed from PvP zones however. It's annoying to get caught by an arachnos at the end of a battle and not only lose the fight, but get debt as well.
Perhaps a toggle button that allows you to get exp and debt from npc's ... or neither .. with a 1 minute delay when you click it.

How about a big overhaul for the arena with a much improved match up system, a queuing system, new and improved maps, new and improved gametypes. I would prefer that over another PVP zone. Something along the lines of WoW's battlegrounds would be very cool to have.
Don't need to overhall queue actions when you can easily queue up your next power as your current power is firing off, excuse me but wanting to press like 6/7 buttons really fast then not doing anything for the next 20 seconds is just lazy
New maps are always welcome however

No, you misunderstand. I mean a match queuing system. One where you can just sign up for a match and just go about your business as usual until it starts. In WoW, you can just sign up for Battleground and go off and do a quest. Once the Battleground match starts, you're automatically transported there from wherever you are. Much more efficient from the current waiting around doing nothing that we do now at the Arena terminals.

Cryptic don't know how to design PvP zones. The micro level design is pretty good, they've managed to fudge their way through the PvE powersets to something that's surprisingly good for little fights between players; but they can't or won't for whatever reason create fun zones in the mold of the WoW battlegrounds - which whatever their faults are way ahead of the CoH/V zones.

probably gone completely out of the conversations towards the end but after looking at the title it gave me an idea of a pvp zone for lowbie levels like 1-10 or higher? maybe we should have a post where we think up names of new pvp zones. My vote on Cuddly Ville ^.^

Mesmer has a good point - a mroe refined area possible like AH across servers would be great with better queing systems and more maps.
I would like to see a queing system, and a free for all zone at level 50.
I would also like to see a lowbie pvp zone. levels 6 through 14 would be nice.

High Mission xp from PvP zones is cool, a nice way to earn a bit of cheeky extra xp and all that, but it does mean that you get a lot of "Im here for the XP!" types into the zone. I like the idea of a FFA lvl 50 zone, without badges, npc's or AV's would be better, so that the sole purpose of entering the zone is to have a brawl.
