Good Job everyone that took part, it'll definatly be easier next time and I certainly learnt a few things on how to take down the new Hamidon. I should probably read a few guides and see how it compares. 
I'm tempted to lead one of my own, but I don't think I know enough about what the Blasters and Controllers were doing.

ripping out my hair would have been stupid, i have reduced several pens to plastic and ink which has now entered cuts and i fear may be causing a lot of damage to me from the inside. That and ive drunk my weight in pepsi and really need the bathroom after 7 hours of it
It was Tyger's first raid, I sure as hell wasn't going to let him fail it after spending so much time with him.
My first toon at his first raid and I ot my first Hami-o with him. It isn't one he can use but I can just let it sit in my tray as a trophy

Great job everyone, and I feel honored to be mentioned (I was Sprite). Now, lets see if Lost Samurai can keep his word and keep away from more Hamidon raids? You did a great job, at great personal expense. You bought HOW many EoEs at the auction house?
I learned that you cannot blap the yellow mitochondria. I wonder if sonic or forcefield dispersion would help?
I also learned that 5-10 million for a Hami-O is indeed pretty cheap. In the seven hours, I only earned 350,000 influence (as opposed to the 10 million or so I would have earned solo in that time) and the drops were not very good at all. Basically, we do it all for glory.
Finally, I dinged 50! I wanted to save myself for a special occasion, and this was indeed special. Thank you everyone for making it so!
But I also learned a lot on how to do it, and if we do it again I think we can cut the time in half or less. You need a team of dedicated aggro holder and a score of team leaders who know what to do - the rest can just follow their team leaders.
It is a strange new world where Scrappers are the key to Hamidon. Or was it just because I was a scrapper that I felt like this? City of Heroes has the marvelous ability to make me feel like a key player whatever I play!
Ok, that does it. I'm going to force far-seer to tell you the right way to do it. Stay tuned...

I was thinking Sonic Disruption field would be good to put on the scrappers to reduce the resistance of the Yellows, as I couldn't hit them with my ranged powers.
I think there was one Forcefield and one Sonic (me) at the raid. I was with the scrappers and they did seem alot more useful than in Pre-I9. We only did the raid with 37-43 people, numbers went up and down throughout as people left and arrived. I'm sure with the full 50 and everyone knowing what to do, we could cut the raid time down by alot.

I gotta say I think we were doing a lot better when I bubbled everyone up (86 bubbles - insulation and deflection on 43 people, phew) but I think this will be easiest when people have the extra boost from a load of set IOs.
Still, I wouldn't trade that 7 hours for anything

I think a couple of our faceplants after I arrived atleast can associated to fatigue and a short spurt of defeatism taking over, leading to a couple of wrong Mito assaults and some wipes. Fortunatly we pulled through!
This is the first thing ive done since I hit 50, and now I have a new lease of life for the character. I'll be respecing tommorow / tonight to optomise for what I think my build needs to put out for another raid. And I'll certainly be part of a new one, even though my reward was probably not worth it.
Also as the controller designated to the A Team...I mean Team A, I was able to take in alot of the global situation as well as the local situ for my team, so I may post later a couple of my theories to increase efficiency.
I'm really glad I got a chance to be apart of this, it was the first time I'd seen some familiar names form the boards in game, and it was a pleasure a n00bie like me could play along side some vets.

Hami raid was ace. It was great to see some many toons out and about in one place.
Congratulations Lost Samurai and the other organizers on the 1st successful Hami raid of issue 9.
The funnest moment for me was when we first got into the Hive and a leroy jenkins moment that followed!

Hooray, we managed to defeat Hamidon tonight, after 7 and a half grueling hours from start to finish and an insane amount of dying.
I have learned several things
1. People who sell EoEs at the Ah for 300k will not live long
2. Deaths happens
3. a lot
4. and then some more
5. just dig a grave and save some time
6. People who say they will come to a raid and then dont will also not live long
7. i am never leading another of these
8. Unionites are as determined as we are suicidal, that is why we will prosper.
9. Officer Cuffz, Luc Sr. Paragon Girl, Curing catz, War borg, Massatron, small freak, Dangerous dude, kiyomori, sprite, and quite a lot of others are far to determined and well done for keeping at this through the debt and the suffering and drowsiness.
im gonna pass out for a few days, to those of you who got a bad reward, im very sorry, not much i can do, better luck if this ever happens again.
