((hm, I have left one of my chars in pocket D, and I might be playing as her tonight. Alice hastoria is a sixteen year old who is in town to help her brother for a while. any specific time you need?))

(( 18 is too old, sorry. And this angle is a heroes only thing. I usually login around 19-20 GTM and log out when I have no alternatives left.
Depending on what is going on I can log Jiffy in, but he is not a priority as such. I aim to gather enough material during this week and the next.

The scope of the article is underage heroes, so basically anyone who started out before 18 years falls within the limits. ))

Name: Jiffy Blakes (original given name Jeffries, has been officially changed since then)
Age: 45 years (DoB 15.3.1961)
Marital status: divorced (ex-wife Beth Masters, re-married)
Employment: reporter for 'Heroic Affairs' section of Daily Coment, columnist writing 'Ground Zero' that is published mostly in Daily Comet
Appearance: gray hair in ponytail, smokes cigars non-stop
Career: Jiffy's own resume states 30 years worth of experience in journalism. No degrees in school. Has worked all around United States as well as elsewhere, most of the time for US papers. Some awards for his work, nothing too big or prestigious so far.

((I have a whole team of teen heroes (well 5) who would be up for giving a group interview. We'll be online Wenesday 24th between 7 and 11. They've just graduated from Dawn Patrol's youth program so it's a chance to speak with youngsters who are just begining thier heroic careers. I probably won't be online until Wednesday but if you wanna sort out a time that's good for you then we'll happily come along.))

(( Jiffy's round of interviews are on a small break. The biggest obstacle is that the interviews require IG time and currently that is scarce. The main reason for this is that Melanie (Nightsparrow) was arrested in her and Andre's (Coile) wedding and there is no immediate resolution in sight. As the risk of getting a jailtime conviction is real I better play characters that can affect the situation meaning mostly Coile, and if Jiffy is about, he has a vested interest in this as well.
By the by, I usually try to avoid getting my characters too much involved in each others' affairs or at least defaulting into helping each other. Enmity or polite distance are my preferred ways of handling the relationship between whichever of my two characters. However there are times when they IC just would work together because nothing else would make sense. Now I have ended up in a situation where both Coile and Jiffy are working towards the same goal. *grumble*
Jiffy will resume the interviews when I have the OOC time for it, which is around the time that Jiffy has IC time. Or was it vice versa? ))
(( I am terribly sorry but the small break became infinite and permanent. Jiffy Blakes is dead. Not my primary choice as far as character development goes but as I so frequently say, IC is IC. Events took place, a situation brewed, a life threatening action was taken. A D100 was rolled. Jiffy died.
I thank all who expressed interest for this article. It might be some consolation that there exists a raw version of the article that Jiffy's editor-in-chief will print after some tidying up.
If someone wants their character involved, to start looking at things and digging around, please contact either @Coile or @Rhinotar. However be mindful of what kind of a plot this is. Jiffy got himself into a situation where he died. The game is called hardball. The risks are real.
I miss Jiffy already. He was my second favourite character and my slots are full. )).
The word spreads that Daily Comet's reporter Jiffy Blakes is interviewing heroes who are not yet 18 years old for an article. He has been seen frequenting Pocket D on a few nights weekly but his phone number and email address are freely obtainable from Daily Comet's web page.
