I'd say the corruptor would be the easier out of the 2, doms have a pretty steep learning curve in pvp and benefit from all the slots they can get there mits on. I like my dom though so I tend to use that over my corruptor. At the end of the day I guess its whats the most fun for you. For dom pvp builds its nice to get something with debuffs on the attacks. The -recharge in ice and psi help while your stacking holds, especially with another dom or corruptor around. Accrobatics is also well worth picking up.

Been trying a corruptor myself as of late and its alot different from my usual toons which are all scrappers or brutes. Gotta stay very mobile and you get to see the inside of the hospital alot more 
Overall, its a very fun toon to play cause you do something else than just mindlessly hit the other players. You dont have the power of a stalker or a brute with fury going so you gotta find some other ways to get the kills.
Im trying out a ice/rad corr and the hold and slow in ice togheter with the AM buff and debuffs in rad make heroes shake in the boots, its awsome fun.

And you'll be fine in PvP, i recommend Fire, Sonic and Ice
All of those combinations are deadly.

I took my lvl 15 trapper for a spin in bb. Couldnt kill with just TO's but I can see the potential there already, including a way to become melee proof.

yeah slowly trying to build an ice/traps corruptor myself for pvp and it does seem to have a lot of ZOMG potential, but just dont expect to win a fight where you get "ambushed" as such from fellow pvpers.

I use web nade a ton in Pvp with my MM and it has NEVER stuck. It's got a tiny mag, and stacking it takes ages.
Posion trap is nice though, people almost never resist the vomit and they're total sitting ducks while they do it.

Thats because most pvp-going people have combat jumping and you'd need to stack webnade to overcome that.

Webnades are used for it's -jump effect so that slows will work correctly. The powerset/epic webnades are also superior to the ones bought in the Arena store or Siren's Call contact because you can slot them to be more accurate, have more range or have the effect on the target longer.
