Yeah, you guys did an excellent job organizing and running this raid, so very well done to you.
It is a shame we got wiped after things had gone so well (this was my 2nd raid) and my computer was coping pretty well (although my modem disconnected shortly after I got there... late ¬_¬)
I tried to at least get the Monster's aggro, but it was too late.
Looking forwards to the next one

Great idea, I'm happy to be up for this! There's not a great deal I can do in a raid, especially once the mitos are cleared so keeping eye out for trouble will certainly be something I can do, if the Raid leaders wanna try this?

Great job organising guys! Sadly you can't account for the halfwits among us who have the attention span of a 2 year old. If anyone does know who is responsible, please PM them and ask them to keep their infantile behaviour out of the raid in future. I thought we had seen the last of "players" like this. It would appear not.
The organisation was superb, the lag was non existant (for me at any rate! 
) and we were all ready for jelly and ice-cream! Next week peeps, oh yes, next week..............
I will also have a word with the other DJ's on Evolution Radio , and see if one of them is willing to do a blow by blow commentary from the Hive. If not then I will be happy to do so before DJ Angel plays her set at 10.

i saw the gms just about entering the goo heading for Empath, put the shout on broadcast that 2 gms were inc, one footstomp later Empath was down, hammerfall died, then the 2nd empath died and the controller team i was in started wiping out.
i didnt see if the gms were dragged in by anyone or not but they both made a total beeline for Empath in the tank healing team.
basically as soon as the controllers started taking flak mitos spawned and it was game over.
interestingly despite being the first on the gms and unloading full attack chains into them they didnt turn to attack me until tank team was entirely whipped.

I was flying high above the hill but wasn't paying enough attention to notice where the GM's came from or why they came to Hami. All i know was I was getting ready for Hami to fall and everyone else fell instead. 
Somebody must have got impatient started a fight & ran when they were dying. Pulling the GM's to Hami!! Grrr!!

OK.. lets look at history
weve done a fair number of raids since the first raid post I7 when initially things went a bit pete tong, however weve been successful since
and we havent had the situation whereby GMs have suddenly out of no-where run in and ganked the Hami-Tank Healing team.
so.. the only theory (ruling out an act of the Devs) is that some plank took it into their head that clearly the raid was being tooo successful, and possibly decided that they didnt want a Hami-O and if they werent getting one then neither was anyone else
this possibly being the case..
a) when people are in Invis, in the Hive on a raid, its extremely difficult to spot them at range
b) if an npc enemy loses its target, it ceases to be taunted to them, therefore the tactic would be taunt, and run like hell !!
this taken into account lets look at the following highly likely scenario:
AT requirement: Tank or Scrapper(possible with any AT.. but these are the most likely)
Powers required : Taunt/Provoke, Fly, Jetpack(GvE power enhanced travel speed) and an Invisibility power
Method:
1 Person runs towards a GM and activates Invis
2 - Uses the taunt/provoke power
and GM turns around.. ugg HERO.. must die
3 Person makes mess in pants
4 Person flees using fly and the jetpack.
5 - Person plots course straight over the top of the Hami-tank & healers.
6- The GM at this point follows like a lapdog
however
and here is where it gets interesting
.
7 Persons travel speed is greater than that of the GM, and eventually the Toon is out of taunt range of the GM
8 GM loses the taunt to him.. and stops.
Nothing too dire there, however:
9 - At this point, the GM stops.. gathers his minimal stony brain together..
10 - GRR Hero Run.. lost hero
and low and behold what does the GM see... nothing more than a group of heroes minding their own tank... being a nasty GM..
11 - They dont belong here, and the monster decides with his low IQ.. Im hungry.. hmmm GM have Hero breakfast.
12 - Low and behold he heads straight for the Hami-tank-Heal team cause theyre closest..
and the rest as they say is history, and no jelly for the heroes.
Whilst I can see this possibility.. NO.. it was not me.. you would have seen my character.. Evil Bob sat in the middle of the holding group, for the whole of the holding phase, as my team(the PA droppers) can attest to as some of them were targeting through either me or my Singularity..
Im as peeved as the rest of the serious raid members last night that the raid failed, and am definatley up for the next one.. this kind of behaviour is totally out of order, a lot of peoples time wasted and for no valid reason :S this is just one way I can see that the raid could possibly have been messed up. I dont profess to be the most strategic person in game, and the above scenario is to be honest not particularly difficult to come up with, Im sure it wouldnt take a serious griefer long to come up with a similar method of destroying a lot of people hard effort.

Odds are we will never know what exactly happend and tbh if as I suspect it was a greifing incident I am kinda glad I dont know who was responcible as on the night I know a few of us on the raid coordinating team were more than a touch annoyed. If someone did do this on purpose I feel sad that they should think this sort of thing is cool/fun many many peoples hard work and effort went to waste, however tbh I think we have to just look past this and move on much as I am annoyed its all in the past now.

I will be back for the next raid lead by either myself or Xanthus and I encourage you all particularly first timers to come along again, these incidents are thankfully uncommon and we will get back to normal service next raid.

Sounds good to me, I wouldn't mind voulenteering at all.
Idea!:
GM Guard team: those who can't take part in the hold phase of the raid could patrol around the jelly. If any monsters come too close for comfort, they can engage the monster in question and lure it away or, if theres enough of them, take it down. team would ideally have at least one tank, one healer of some sort and some damage dealers.
So how do you want to be done? Medium, Well or Extra Crispy?

I've been disscusing this with my SG, I wouldn't mind leading it, and 2 of my SG members would have voulenterd to help, if you all don't mind?
Judging by this raid, the majority of toons "not involved in the holding phase" would be tanks and scrappers anyway.
As was already mentioned there were several toons from coward's hill that ran towards the GMs and engaged them, they just couldn't reach them in time to save the tanking team. Either a largish patrol team or several smaller "lookout" teams stationed around the jelly would make this unlikely to repeat.
Possibly cover the 4 compas points with 4 teams? The last act of anyone in the guarding team if they know they're going to die is to run away from Hami leading the GMs with them though.

Another option would be to hava a backup hami tank team situated out of aggro range to the main one - something like hold team 12 o clock, hami tank 4 o clock and backup 8 o clock - would mean that they could take over very quickly if the main one gets aggro or d/cs.
However the perimeter guard is definitely a very good idea - gives the other ATs something to do as well.
I believe thers more cases of it happening on the US servers and they tend to use both techniques (as well as the brute force high debt way)

I might make a quick amendment to it though. I would suggest at least 4 patrol teams. One at each of the compass points North, South, East & West.
If the patrol teams used the request team to send up a warning flag ie 'Trouble Incoming from South!!' It would mean the other patrols and everyone on Cowards hill has time to prevent another disaster like Monday.
4 patrols are needed cause if patrol is in east they may miss trouble in west etc etc....
I will gladly put my name forward to be a member of any of these patrol squads. We would need an Empath on each patrol, cause if we see trouble we will more than likely need to sacrafice our lives slowing them down. A tank would make this job easier (of course 
)

One of he bst Raids iv been to for a long time i stoped going becaus eit used to be total cheaos but it was so well organised & lag free, well for me any way which makes a good change, thx for organising this it's no to much bigga deal we failed to me coz at the end of the day i had fun but was a little boring on the PA Droping stage but its all fun, bring on the next 1 i say.
I just logged back in on my main, back in the jelly in the hive, and it seems that the cluster of mitos that spawned on the hold team are still there. How long should they last?
