But seriously, last time we did a raid, there were GMs crashing the party too - although they started showing up early on, when there were still lots of us on the hill waiting, so it wasn't a problem to take them out.
Can GMs be Confused? If they can, then a few Controllers would do just as well as a team of Tanks in keeping the raid GM free in future

Personally I'd prefer to see the controllers actually taking part in the holding phase instead of patrolling for monsters

But they don't all neeed to do the holding - 3 or 4 spare ones would be enough to keep the GMs Confused, wouldn't it?

There's no such thing as "spare" controllers during the holding phase 
As a theoretical argument I'm not sure how many would be needed to confuse a GM and I'm not sure we'd even want to risk trying it - what if the confused GM made a beeline for Hami and caused a lagfest at exactly the wrong time? A taunting tanker (or scrapper) is the easiest and best solution to rampaging GM's - all we would need is for people to not attack the GM until it's heading back out of the jelly after being taunted, thus reducing the lag effect on the holding group.

hmm, shouldve despawned after 3 or 6 hours....dont remember tbh....6 hours at the most though
