Either weekend suits me at the moment. Ill find out train times / car estimated drive time and then let you know.

I might actually be in Cormwall the friday before one of those weekends, I'll find out later today.

Awwww... that sounds really fun and interesting but as I've told you, I really don't know can I come to UK right now Hopefully in a couple of weeks I know better, though

The 18th-20th would suit me better as I'm off work then

I WAS going to say that 18-20th would be better, as the following weekend is a bank holiday and the traffic down to Cornwall will be manic. Unfortunately, I'm helping my best mate move house in Yorkshire on the 18th. So I can make the bank holiday weekend, but not the previous one

Anyway, fingers crossed that I'll be there ready to party on...

Forgot to say anyone who looks at the hotel website don't be scared off by the tariffs. I've had a verbal indication that the cost of rooms will be similar to travel inns etc.

I'm not sure how I'll decide which weekend to hold it, I suppose it will be the one which suits the most people.

Doc tell you're friend to stop being inconsiderate and to change the date of his house move

YEAH!

I'm kind of hoping that his moving date will change (as these things often do), but won't know until closer to the time...

OOPS, should have consulted the diary prior to my previous reply. Cant do the bank hols weekend due to prior arrangements. Also - I dont much fancy an 8 hour drive becoming a 12 hour drive due to Bank Holiday madness.

So, doc, sort your mates out, or develop a bad back / other good excuse.

Chap.

Jesus wept - i thought i lived in the south yet it's a 4 hour drive from Hampshire! I pity the fool from 'Boro!

Anyway, 18-20th if that's the date - i can swing by Bristol if MJ needs picking up if he's gonna be around too..or anyone else along that route/close enough.

Hopefully I wont be in bristol by then. Aiming to move back up north of the border so i am not sure how available i will be for this.

Hey, at least there's not a sea between you and there.

I'll check flights and junk within the next couple of day, but frankly Friday night might be a bit of a push as I'll no doubt be working daytime. I shall investigate!

Should in principle be OK for either weekend, but would prefer 18-20th.

Unfortunately I can't make any promises at this point as there's always the chance of being called away at short notice, but since August is usually machine month at the synchrotron my chances of being able to make it are pretty good!

Bleh, I need to have a more robust 'need to reply to thread' reminder setup installed in my lower cranium...

As to me attending? Probably not. For a variety of reasons, only one of which is me being a thoroughly unsociable barsteward...

The fact that a weekend of clubbing/drinking establishments is my idea of hell is another factor, but the major factor is the amount of traveling required and that I'm almost permanently skint (with at least one batch of travelling sort of planned over the Summer already)

So, have fun guys, those of you who who decide to head down to southern wuss land

And I guess I'll not be going either. Apparently no-one goes from Northern Ireland to Newquay ... The best they can do is Exeter at the cost of £189.00 ...

So, you know, maybe next time.

That's a shame Mbar. Looks like the Missus and step-daughter are away that weekend, so maybe able to all crash at her flat. Will make a decision nearer the time.

Not sure about dates and all but this might be a fun addition to a 'Travel to Wolverhampton and locate Midnight Agent who has gone missing' trip which has been in the works for a while and is planned for sometime when I get back from holiday (two weeks). Not a huge chance but that may bring out Swift Fox, Freyr and I, though I'm not too sure what to do with Jack. ;D

Doubt we'll find Midnight (Question) with our yelling 'Miiiidnight' from a car window with a loudspeaker idea but Freyr said something about a phonebook so meh. If we find him and are able to make it we could drag him along too.

Anywho it would be nice to meet the old (with some new) faces. The PvP grind in WoW (yes I fell into it) is getting a frustrating and the four weeks of decay is probably going to get me back on CoH levelling one of my myriad of mid-level characters.
