the 9600 pro came yesterday, all installed and working fine. logged into the game for a few mins and got tons of bades (dunno what for). running on 256mb ram atm, getting another 512 this week. Made a BS/SR scrapper called Ghost of War

good choice of sets all my attacks are 3xdmg, 2acc and 1 end redux I think. I took SJ and you wiz round the sky with it fast enough, get good with windowledge hopping. I never took parry tho, few things lasted long enough for it to be useful. I forget the difference as I never learned the names but slice/slash, found both to be useful, build up and the cone one did decent damage to several mobs at a time. best thing is early the damage is high so you dont need to slot the attacks for anything, can concentrate on secondary. I didnt take hasten until I6.

yeah I miss when invul scrapper was basically a tank. Im hoping to be back on the game (tho limited times as im sharing a pc) in the next week, will have to re-learn everything. Im still going for my plan to have a BS/everything at 50! the other primaries just dont feel right

thanks for that it was fun before but it looks like SR is going to be improved? not sure if thats good or bad after invul (especially pre I4) i fancied being on the edge of oneshot.

I have a spines/sr up to early teens and its fun so far, wondering if anyone has slotting tips for the SR part, is it just 3xdef and end redux for toggles and 3xdef for passives? any other pool choice suggestions would be good too.

just ordered a cheap 9600 Pro, should do fine I think for COH.

i checked on the xfx site and they seem to have a good warranty thing for their cards so ive logged a ticket with their helpdesk to see if they can tell me whats up with the 6600gt card or if i can send it in for a repair/exchange. no answer yet

although i do take exception to muse being called the greatest rock band if i can finally get onto the game on the weekend i'll help out.

that sounds good, i dont play cov if i can avoid it so a basic card shouldnt be a problem, id use this onboard if it supported open glide..

looks great, never tried but would an 8x card work on a board that only says 4x in the bios? It does say agp 3.0 tho too.

cheap as possible just something that'll run it on low to med settings. the pc I am on has sis unichrome IGP and COH wont even load. just need a basic card until i can get my own pc again. Might see if i can get on a different pc just to get the badge

anyone know where you can get a cheap agp card that will run coh (not bothered about cov) well at min settings. Would something like a gf 4mc 440 / 5200 or ati 9250 do it? for compatability i think an agp4x card would be best for this board so im pretty limited.

talked to my g/f (begged as men with g/f know that is code for) and im hoping to get a system from dabs (self build) this month. a 64 3700+ should be a decent difference from my xp2200.

setback on the pc front, thought id be able to get on this week but turns out my 6600gt has given up along with my old motherboard - never putting coffee next to a mouse and above the back end of my tower again. want to make a new scrapper badly
