Lingering Radiation
LR is one of the best powers in the game AOE super slow and awesome -regen power. Put "I have Lingering Rad" in your search comment and watch the invites from people fighting AVs come in

it really is a great Debuff, but take lingering rad or enervating field?
no no my friend take both
all three rad debuss are a wonder to be hold, hardly anthing can hit you and when it does its like being tickled plus the enemy are as weak as kittens
In the last evil corruptors convention we had a declaration of principles: rad corrs cant be really evil without EF and LR.
So youre gonna have to be just 'bad' if you dont take it(and it does not pay)
Now ,seriously, take both.If you solo it will be pefect tool for freezing Bosses and E'bosses and if you team a lot it will be real needed to cut down the new(i7) 300% regen of AV's.
Yeah take both - I have a /Rad controller and joined a solo blaster yesterday who had an AV mission ...
"Shouldn't we get a team first?"
"Nah - let's go"
took us five minutes but we did it in perfect safety ... and it was VERY obvious when LR was not up...

you into the world
Yep I'd take Radiation infection, Enervating Field and Lingering Radiation in that order by level 30. In fact thats exactly what i did. RI ASAP, EF at 24 since I needed to do the Stamina & Travel power run and LR at 30.
Actually, Dark Miasma's heal - Twilight's Grasp - has the same regen-decreasing effect as Lingering Radiation, and has the extra bonus that since TG's recharge is fast you can keep it on them continually... just thought i'd mention it
According to the Prima strategy guide, the regen debuff from LR lasts 30s after applying it, and it's on a 90s cooldown, while TG is 20s and on an 8s cooldown - i tried it out against Sea Witch yesterday and it seemed to work fine.

well if you go that way, nuttin beats a bots/dark, nin/dark or bots/poison for debuffing regen (at lvl 38 they got 5, 4 and 3 -regen powers respectively)
but like others said, take both EF and LR, theyre the cornerstones of the whole rad set
"god, how many devs did hami have to sleep with to get ED?"
Total Cat @Stagefright
You're at the level where you can take LR, and you don't have EF yet? Man, you sure do need a respec...

3recharge and Am keeps LR perma.
LR also slows the target to a stand still.
LR is for winners
DM is for nimmers.
RI, EF, LR are the unholy trifecter of powers, will reduce anything to a lump of deadmeat in PvE or PvP. Rads FTW
people love */rad corrs and i realy feel sorry for */rad corrs without all 3 debuffs... i think they are a must have for a */rad corr and help alot in pvp and pve.
I now have all 3 debuffs and feel fine - I just dinged 30 and couldnt decide between another attack or choking cloud - unable to decide I went for Combat Jumping instead... contraversial choice or not?
Choking Cloud is cack - not worth getting IMO.
@Under Control
Combat Jumping is great but don't see much point if you're not gonna get the big 3 from the leaping pool: CJ, nice unsurpressed movement (slot with jump and not defense or end reds for gods sake...more than 1 if you can spare it!), SJ...nice vertical movement and Acrobatics...I hate being knocked back...this is the answer!!
About Choking Cloud: People either love it or hate it...it really depends on playstyle....personally I love it (recommend trying it out on the testserver....will need proper slotting to be truly effective though (2-3 end reds, 1-3 holds)

Well i've had choking cloud in and out of my build on many occasions and to be honest i think it's pretty good, just don't really have the space for it at the mo.
oh and CJ would be ok if your taking it on the road to acrobatics later, oh how i'm waiting for my patron respec. that bit of mez protection could save so much hassle, nothing worse than getting mezzed and watching your debuffs drop shortly before you get stomped into the ground
Don't agree with slotting CJ for jump rather than def... personally I've never needed more jumping than CJ already has unaided. It adds a noticeable bit of defense, and it's worth slotting for that, the immobilization protection is nice too. The endurance cost is minimal though, really not worth reducing.

Slotting both hurdle and combat jumping with jump enhs gives you fantastic maneuverability and seeing a 3 slotted combat jumping with defense buff SOs gives you a hardly mindboggling 3.5% defense (the base defense is 2.3%).
Not exactly worth it in my book....

Definately not worth slotting for defence. And as Archy said, the jump (especially when combined with hurdle) is well worth slotting up. You'd be suprised just how far you can jump with them.
And it 's unsurpressed.
You never know when that extra 3.5% could save your life

about 3.5% of the time?

Yup, that being a great advantage. Especially in PvP.

True, it does help. But only by a very tiny amount. It's just not worth wasting 3 slots on little over 1% of defence.
If you slot it with jump, you still get the 2.3% base.
Hi all,
obviously talking to those with /Rad.
Ive just taken Lingering Radiation (LR) as I fancied taking my corr up a lvl on debuffing.
Ive not fully field tested it but... ... on 'paper' it sounds like a great debuff - in reality I'm not so impressed so I was just wondering is LR any good or should I have taken Enervating Field? (I only ask as I still have the I7 respec so change is possible)
what do you guys think id the better debuff?
cheers y'all
