Militia Thursdays
hehe. we got maybe four new players interested.
my mate Graikatiph has been playing as Seth something something. lol (blaster)
isaac too will be playing Captain somethign something lol (scrapper)
and another friend of mine, Blindsight'll be playing as Quick-sand tonight. (controller - Stone/Arrows)
Blows me away with his crazy story plots and a-mazing concepts. Very creative man I tell ya!
Check out this new idea of his! Secundum Terra. Looks fun.
Anyway, can't wait till tonight guys. It's gonna be fun-tastic!
Cool, and I think Jedi (Rika from the COV IC) might also consider giving it a try
and I do believe it's Seph something something
I'm back tonight after my absence last week, Hawkshaw's still at level 14 from the last time I played.
How about DR. Vazh tonight once we are rolling (meet 7, team away by 7:30?)
(PS Super-Powered now... Weeeee!)
I need serious anger-managment at the moment. I'm at moms, babysitting her house while she's on vacation. She's got this crappy wireless network installed that works 50% of the time. Now the thing is I finally got the [censored] up network to acyually connect me to the internet. Guess what we find out then.... Some ******* has uninstalled my lil' bro's copy of CoH so.... I have the bloody internet connection but no game to ply with. Sucks big time....
I might be able join in a bit later if my older step-brother finishes his WoW session on the other computer in this house, but that's a big maybe and all depends on how long he will be playing.
Soz guys I had really been looking forward to the session tonight. Our thursdays light up my gaming week.
If all else fails, see you next week.
Damn man, that sucks. I hope you do get on later.
The Vaz is fine with me tonight. Amber's after anyone who does kidnapping so he'll be great to go after. See you all soon.

is everyone ok if i might use a kheldian as my AT when i return?? or does hyer help teh plot you have?
As stated, we managed to completely trounce Dr Vahzilok:
Heroes Decide On Emergency Surgery
For Once, It's The Doctor Who Needs The Sick-Note
That really was a great performance last night - and believe it or not, it was the first time I actually tried taking down Dr. Vahz.
Nice to have the screenshots Max, Angel was much too scared to remember to activate her standard issue Militia camera
Twas a good night and fun to take down my first AV. Who's next?
Those screenies are going to form the basis of my wallpaper for the week. Good times all.
No probs with a Kheldian on the team, we did have one briefly. Though it will be a shame to lose Hyper, he was kinda fun. But it's all up to you pal, whatever makes it fun for you.

, I missed a Vazh AV, a well, I was at my brothers last night, so I couldn't show, but I'll try to be there next week.
Putting Doc Vahzilok in his place was excellent fun, and exactly the sort of thing the Militia needs: big, cool, memorable battles.
However, it reminded me of something I meant to post about a couple of weeks ago after we took on Frostfire... for at least the third time. When we get the point when our characters *have* to ask, "What? Him? Again?", we're definitely stretching the point.
For the sake of our poor characters' sanity (those who have any ), I think it would be best if we try to avoid any repetition of missions, and particularly of EBs/AVs.
In game terms this might be an inconvenience, but it rather cheapens our triumph if all our greatest victories are repeated the following week.
This isn't nearly as much of a problem with anyone other than Frosty, but after all the times my main had to fight Maestro I just wanted to raise the point for the future.
Thoughts?
Knights Exemplar: Wolfram, Autumnfox, Starlit Spirit.
Militia: The Portent, Wavekite, Mr. Sandman.
The Cadre: WarpLocke, Zajin.
Numerous others.
Agreed.
I thing we should do a Task Force or several.

Task Forces will need a definite long-evening dedicated to them if we want to do them in one go, as there's no way we can finish them in the timeslot we have at the moment.
I think weekends or Friday night maybe the best time to do Task Forces.

Depends on the Task Force. Some of the earlier ones can be done in 2-3 hours (often). Unfortunately we have no stealth/teleport character which could speed things up, but hey ho.
Perhaps we should organise a TF anyway outside Thursday 7:30. Would people be interested?

Hmm, not really. I mean, this kinda thing happens all the time in comicbooks.
Dr. Oc is defeated countless times, yet he returns to battle Spiderman.. again.
Dr. Vahilok and Frostfire are similar, they're defeated only to return.
If you ask me, it's all because we don't kill them.. but if we did, we'd become more like them.
Anyway, yeah! More Task Forces and or Arch-Villains ftw!
Synapse's (sometime this week) could get most of us to 19/20 in preparation for Thursday's costumes.
I would certainly love to take part in a TF
As regards repeat missions and sanity, I agree that we should not try to actively seek out doing the same missions more than once, but if it happens, then I just assume that yet another prison break has taken place
I won't be able to join in on thursday
By the time you'll be meeting eachother 'round the base or wherever, I've just finished setting up my tent on a festival camp-site, opened up a can of beer or two and listening to sweet, sweet reggae music.
I'll see if I can get around playing some during the week, hopefully meeting some of you before thursday. I'd really like to hit 18 before next week.
And while I'm on the subject I might as well ask (Since someone will be asking sooner or later anyway ) what the lvcap will be for this thursday.
I think the level cap is 19 so we can all do our cape missions on Thursday. Not sure though, Pious knows.
Masked Angel will be there - completely untainted by XP since the last session
Good to see that some new people might be coming to give the Militia a try.
Lady Cobra is still playing catch-up, now at 13
