Problem is thats a big misconception.You can have all 48 level 50's and still not know anything about game except the basic stuff.Xp inflow has nothing to do with experience regarding the game.

Uber VG regarding PvP and the tone of the posts about the flew around from Violators VG is a whole different world than Prestige and farming prestige.Prestige is not indication of PvP experience.Remember that.

i spoke with people that have faced Violators and have seen tactics used and have the epxerience to give us a good picture of what went on during the raid.

Fact 1: Violators SG avoids to face heros and makes excuses to step out of pvp fight based on 10 levels of slots that are actually make no difference due to them being used in epic slotting
Fact 2:Not enough experience simply because you avoid to face organised fights and boast about killing lonely targets and newbies in pvp zones
Thats more than enough as for an apology u aint seeing one cause there is no reason for one. I back my experience in PvP by having fought since day 1 in pretty much all kinds of fights with some of the best players around and have died and killed loads and loads.

I personally see no need for "willy waving" and making grandiose statements, but then again I dont get roleplay, I really dont. I dont dismiss it or deride it in anyway just I have a fairly analytical mind and simply dont get it, it seems like it may be fun though.
You may be a good VG, you may be great at the game but in my humble opinion I think attitude and drama needs to be played down as it can clearly go the wrong way and make people feel "persecuted", this is not just directed to Dr Death but to many on the boards, and in game, whose attitudes are built on self aggrandising, but then as i said I dont get "into character" so to speak. I would personally never deign to say I am a good pvp player, i let my abilities speak for themselves be they good or bad.

The in-character chatting is the funniest, becuase no-one takes it as seriously as out-of-chartacter chat, especially in PvP.

*sigh* I don't know about other posters, but I'm really sick of this. The whole arrogance act was part of a roleplay thing. Maybe it was a bad idea, maybe it got out of hand. I don't particularly care, I just know I have better things to do than discuss it with people I technically don't even know. I'm dropping the act and will try to advise other SG members to do the same.
We're not an Uber-VG. We are currently the most active one. We have extremely good PvE players (IMHO), that have a good and friendly "relationship". I can't speak for other members, but I also feel like I have a lot of buddies in other VGs which I have a good time teaming with. In PvP we have had many successes so far. Whether those successes mean anything or not is for others to decide.
For what it's worth, I'm personally still interested in the training room challenge.

Any such attempts of adding 'flavour' to posts on practically any internet open forum is a very very bad idea and will merely cause tons of flames..
At least put ((in-character)) stamp on your posts or something..
OK, this has gotten out of and hand I realise that I'm possibly one of those who has fanned some of it. I do feel that none of my posts were really flaming or provoking but were actually me pointing out facts as I see them.
They may have been a little blunt but I feel they were no blunter than Dr Deaths comments were in some of my posts about getting a PvP specific VG on Union. So, while I feel that I don't have to apologise, as you should only give what you're happy to receive, I will apologise anyway if my comments have had anything to do with Dr. Death leaving the forums. I'm also more than happy to discuss any of this in game and leave the Union Leaders channel if my views aren't wanted on there.
However, I will also say that I do not think any of the posts I've seen here calling the Violators out are any worse than the posts I've seen from the Violators with their claims of being the best around. Needless to say, no one will dispute they are one of the highest prestige earning VG's on Union and no one will argue with that and Dr. Death does have a lot of lvl 50's.
All of these 'we are uber posts' may be part of some RP but any one could see that the continual claims both on here and in game were going to annoy people. Maybe it was part of a plan to provoke people into challenging the Violators and has backfired. However, there are plenty of other groups on here who are recognised as being good at PvP and people want to fight them as a result of that, not because they go round provoking people
I don't agree with Dr Death leaving the forums over this but I also feel that all of this is a result, not of the Violators being one of the best raid PvP villain groups on Union server and people wanting to knock them because of it(though they are probably the best at the moment from the few on there), but a result of people taking umbrage to the attitudes the Violators have displayed as a whole.
Death, don't leave the boards as losing any of the few experienced PvP players out there's knowledge and views is never going to be a good thing, but, do take a look at your groups general attitudes and here are some examples of what I mean from various Violator posts

Why use the statement at all? Saying that you raid regularly, have not actually been beaten yet, have learned things from each of those who have raided you and would like to find more people to raid against would have still shown you as a good raid VG but doesn't have any of the arrogance that has provoked so many people. Reputations are not built by what the group themselves say but by what those who face them say.

This was again another post thrown completely at random into a thread discussing another matter and just seen as an attempt to hijack the post for self promotion.
There were also several other posts that would have served as better examples but Bridger actually removed them and locked the thread. Death, I don't think you can honestly look at this objectively and say you have no idea why people have a bad opinion of the Violators and want to beat them with the sole intention of shutting them up.
Come back to the forums, contribute to PvP, continue to beat people in raids and let the reputation speak for itself rather than the propoganda and drop the arrogance. PvP should be fun but when people are so intent on provoking others nastiness is always going to creep in.
I've posted this both here and in a PM to you so, even if you're not reading the forums, I hope you're still checking your PM's and I am sorry if anything I've said here has upset you but hope you understand why people have reacted the way they have.

Now what gets me is this; i'd say i'm quite good at PvP, not úber as you so nicely put it, but definately not bad. And i happen to be a leader of the Precision Rangers, who have a very nice base, as we earn a lot of pressed cheese. So... Does that mean you want to purposely come and destroy something that people put so much time and effort into making just to make yourself 'not' a bully?
My recommendation would be to get out of your pram, pick up your rattle from the floor and rethink the way you go about things
I'm not biased against the Violators, i'd certainly like to set up more raids etc and have them as a part of it, but certainly not under these conditions and leadership. So, all my best to you guys, and i hope you can sort out any problems in an adult way.

I didn'nt really want to post on this thread but its got a bit out of hand so will add my 2 inf's worth.
The Violators VG are the richest, YES, but this does not mean they are "uber" in any way, From what I have seen of them they are dirty players in PVP (we had a raid with them and all they did is name call and hurl abuse), sure this was the sound of a frustrated VG group, but still no excuses..
We enjoyed beating them at a raid both defending and attacking, but we have fought many and many SG's/VG's in raids and not once have had the randomness of playstyle or abuse from how the violators were on that day.
Light Smack talk is fine, but outrage is not. good communication and common respect is a needed thing in games of this scale. and its THIS thats the problem on your back and will lower the entire tone of your VG to nothing.
In my opinion posts like "we are leet and uber so therfore raid us blah blah" show to me that they are not good but bullys to lesser SG/VG to themselves, for me respect comes from people that post about you in good sence rather than you having to do it yourself.
Take a leaf from people like NBR or Defients, who are actually trying to encourge people into PVP the correct way rather than making a statement and not being able to back it up.
I say take the challenge from defients just so you can be knocked down a peg or 2, it may do you good so you can actually start to show people respect.. and respect my freind is what makes people admire, be freindly with, and want to train/raid/arena with you.

well said, i have no experience of base raiding but for me the huge main difference between the arena and zones is respect.
and i would take a challenge from anyone no matter what the odds as u can only get better by playing a better opponent and i take far more away from losing than winning as it gives u something to think about and improve upon

You know pvp is more than base raids that u kill people while loading inside your base during base raids. So i suggest u try other forms of it might be fun

oooooooooh!!!!i shake in fear...*knees shaking etc*.I thought u not fight heros,but now u put threats out. Btw we are good and the team we can bring on test server can teach you a few things in preparation for i7. At least take the match for educational reasons so that the PvPers in Violators can learn a few things.
