Indeed Meteor Noir has a healthy chest. But it is based on screenshots taken from players on the character selection screen and Meteor Noir had just that!

Very cool pictures!
I love the free, flowing lines, the pictures look very effortless and natural.
For constructive critizism I'll pick on couple of tiny details. In Galdagirl the picture ends in somewhat awkward place IMO, why not draw her feet in it too?
The first SKAR picture is a little stiffer (mostly because the inking and tenser pose I think). To give it more sense of movement I'd make his hair go different way, now it is against the movement assuming he is flying from right to left. (Lot of hairspray 
)
Meteor noir is the most posing / stiffest picture, maybe just the ink again? Might her poor back acting up *grin* I like the shading a lot in this one.
Generally, the women in CoH all have huge racks, even the smallest setting has nothing to be ashamed for, and anything above medium reminds me of balloons taped into chest.

-You're right on the Galdagirl pic. My first error was not to finish the whole pic when sketched out. But I'll use the excuse of it still being a WIP so I'll add the feet in along with the electricity effect - Elec blaster I've been told..

I agree with Stasis on the beautiful, but would like to point out that all CoX female toons come equipped with genetically modified back muscles which allow them to carry around all that weight.
Oh, and by the way, I'll be sending assassins around to your house later since I hate people with genuine talent.

I think it's in keeping with the whole comic-book look they're going for - I might find it offensive in some other type of game, but here, it suits it really well.
And it's not like they're pandering only to males - just take a look at the ripped-as-all-hell beefcakes that most guys seem to choose for their charcters - somewhat absurd proportions, but still fitting the world.
(Plus, it gives those of us who lean towards the balloon-ish in real life the chance to see ourselves in all our digital glory )

It's a good point you brought up, Super_Heroine. CoX only allows you to create steroetypical toons. It goes along with the concept of the game. I have to say though that creating a more than "pleasantly plump" toon like the Blob™ with an in game flesh-physics engine could be quick cool.

Yes, it fits comic-book style (I won't go into how women are potrayed in comics here ) but honestly, i think it's more because comics and games are mostly targetted to same audience (=young males) than "I know everyone would like realistic looking female toons, but let's make them this way instead since that's the genre the game is". I am not really bothered though, it's the same in every game.
The balloonish was ment for the very obviously fake looking huge ones . When you tilt the slider to max in char creation, it looks just... O.o VERY fake. To try move back towards the topic, IMO Galda has more fantasied/artifical/comic book style figure while Meteor Noir is more "natural" in shape even if err, very large.
By the way, Cheetah might be my favorite picture, it has great film noir / femme fatala feel to it, and the cat (the other one) is adorable.

At least they give an option on size - think how many other games give us Boobs McChesty as the only available female bodytype.
And think the ballon factor is often dependent on the costume choice - for example, the armoured torsos tend to add bulk to the whole body, and play down any excessive exagerations.
