How can spines be flavour of the month?, FotM should be those build people allways make, not those that are the best that people never choice. There arent that many spines arround. DM and katana are still the most popular, closely followed by MA.
Same with stalkers, everyone makes ninja blade eventhough its suppar. I think Flavour of the month should be what people actually makes not what is best.

FotM Blaster = Ice/En, FotM Scrapper = Spines/Regen.
'troller are tending towards /Storm, Tanks are seeing a shift from Stone/ to Ice/, and no-one knows what the hell the Defenders are up to, except there's still a ratio of 26 Empaths to every other Defender powerset combined.

There are often spines scrappers knocking about in Siren's when I'm in there (not counting my own obviously)

But they're not always blappers. But I would see there would be trouble trying to make it Blastastic when you're so tempted to make a Blapper.
Im with imaginary on that FoTm thing, there really aren't that many high level established Ice/EM and Spines/regen around etc....
But, you see, that's the point. Everyone is making them, but it takes time before people start getting them to high levels.
