Heya, long time since i stopped playing ( a year and a bit ago) But i reactivated my account today going to start playing some more, so ./wave to anyone that remembers me =), i dont even remember the characters in my signature ^^

As far as i know PFF is +defense to all, except mez but dispersion bubble covers that

Yeah doms are becoming a viable pvp choice, first time ive ever been killed by a dom solo =)

I have all my defense powers slotted 3 defense, and an extra 1 end reduction in each of the toggles, you cant enhance the resistance on the passives, but with all 3(lucky,dodge,agile) its about 60% resistance at 20% hp which aint too bad, i took thunder kick at the lower levels but respecd it out at 24 for criplling axe kick. Oh and also best to put another slot in practiced brawler, it recharges just before it wears off with 2 recharge SO, you would do good to take all the SR powers, im going to skip out on Dragons tail as i only want single target damage and thats about all the help i can offer as he's only level 29

Im quite sure short circuit drains end from foes and gives "some" of that back, my hero builder says otherwise but i was playing around with a elec blaster the other day and i remember using it/reading it

It all boils down to one thing imo, If you dont want to fight, overwhelming odds or not, leave the zone, and if you want to go afk leave the zone too, theres no need to moan about it on the forums, im not condoning this in anyway but.... is it really that hard to click the steel canyon exit?

Hey cmon, i used a smiley when i said Nice acc, i was outside the hero base so you could see me with the drones +perception, you killed me once and it was a nice fight, and yes i rely on AS , and i run when it misses and when things go wrong, people say there is nothing lost from deaths in pvp, but i guess thats just me, im sorry if you took my nice acc joke as being "mean" wasn't intended that way

They Been FoTm for ages, although my blaster was my first character when i started playing had no idea about pvp or the like then. -
Im with imaginary on that FoTm thing, there really aren't that many high level established Ice/EM and Spines/regen around etc....

But Stun and Total Focus are the only attacks in the set that will guarantee a disorient - the other attacks only have a chance to apply minor disorient effects - and both Stun and Total Focus have the same recharge of 20 seconds base, IIRC. The animation for Stun is 2-3 seconds, less than the 4ish second animation for Total Focus - its "wind up" animation looks slow, but it's in no way "really long". Having them both, needless to say, makes it far easier to perma-mez opponents either in PvE or PvP. I opted to take Stun over Whirling Hands, and I've not been disappointed in the results - but YMMV.
As far as the magnitude of the disorients, I'm not sure if TF always does Mag 4, or always does Mag 3 with a chance to hit Mag 4. Playing experience would move me toward the latter, but that could just be because different bosses have different levels of resistance at different points in the game.
[/ QUOTE ] I still think its animation time is too long, for just a stun , yes total focus does have a longer animation but it is a guaranteed mag 4 stun with a shedload of dmg, so its worth that extra second, by the time you have them stunned they will already be 8ft away and walking backwards.
edit: According to CoH/CoV character builder total focus has a 100% chance of a mag 3 disorient and an 80% chance for a mag 4 disorient which is still an improvement on stun -

Assuming power boost works with blizzard, i might take it again should be enough +slow and KB to stop them from running out of it
