So, Supergroups...

In my lacklustre attempt to integrate myself into the Union community I feel I should start investigating the server's bustling supergroup scene. I'm looking for something in a low maintenance, fairly active supergroup with a number of low level toons in circulation, who wouldn't find the idea of teaming with a former Deviant entirely abhorrent. Roleplaying isn't essential, but while I'm here I may indulge myself a little if the opportunity presents itself.

Probaly because low level teams are scarce and hard to find within the coalition.....

I would advertise the New Blood Rebellion but lots of the regulars are over in Villains at the mo. Last Line of Defence (who we share a coalition with) are pretty active and a great bunch of peeps.

Having said that, you are absolutely welcome to join NBR, we are in a coalition with most of the 1AT SGs and the aformentioned LLOD and new players are always welcome.

If you are interested send Voltan, Dagar, D-Zol a tell and we can sort you out.

Very hard to find teams atm

I don't think its just the coalition I think its CoH in general. I have been helping out a newcomer in the hollows because she can't find teams. I was suprised at how quiet the hollows were at the Atlas entrance.

I always remembered this as a bustling place with Taxibot standing on the shed rescuing low level heroes.

NBR is a little quiet lately, though we do now seem to have a group of mid 40's making the run to 50. The SG is mainly full of lvl 50's waiting for some new content and whenever we invite new poeple, they seem to play for a few does then go inactive!

That said, we are VERY active on our VG and are in coaliton with them. We are also in coalition with LLOD who are all alt maniacs so they'll probably have active players at most levels.

We are also in coaliton with most of the 1 AT SG's (I really need to look at sorting coalitions out with the others. Any of the Scrapper, Kheldian leaders about?).

8 man teams between LLOD and NBR are pretty much a given every night of the week, with two full teams running quite often.

Basically, if you log on and no one your level is about, you just holler and someone will alt/sk/exemp with you at the very least as a lot of the LLOD/NBR guys make it a rule to no let anyone solo.

TF's are also happening at least once a week, though there are usually some being run most night on one of the two games.

Having been in both the NBR and LLOD (I defected when everyone buggered off to CoV, which I don't really like), I can tell you that as long as you're not a moron* and as long an you're hard to offend or irritate** you're welcome in the LLOD.

*Unless you're happy for us to kick you. We're good at kicking morons. Our forum has a list of morons to be avoided, I believe.

**We had a half-hour conversation about poo and colonic irrigation over Coalition and SG chat yesterday. Previous highlights include "the corn on the cob incident".

What sort of level are you at the mo? I'm currently running a couple of toons simultaneously around the 28/32 range and am toying with actively playing a level 7 scrapper I started (no SG affiliation yet for him). Both of my higher level toons (I use the term "higher level" loosely) are in the NBR. I often team with NatureGirl (also NBR)who's currently round the 30 mark. Along with Trill Stranger (mid 30's), I think we're the only active toons not in the 40/50's range.
As mentioned in other posts the groups not too active at the mo with most playing CoV, but with the coalition I find it quite easy to get in teams for TF's and mishes most nights - Often find myself hooking up with similair level toons from LLOD via the coalition, who also seem to be on most evenings.
Also once you join an SG you stop getting all those naff blind invites to join one which is nice

The Coalition has picked up a bit. Low level teams are made quite often.

What Duckdee said, the coalition seems to have gotten alittle boost in the low levels. If you are interested in the 1-AT coalition, simply contact anyone of us and we'll either invite ourself or find you the right person to contact .

True, lately in the Coalition I've seen a lot of people around lvl 8-12 askin for team, I think we have lots of low levels now!
If you want to join the Armoured Core (all tanker SG)you can send a global tell to @Jiaozy and if I'm around I'll have you invited.
The SG himself is not very active, but the coalition usually makes up for that

Who is that then Wam? Scrapper on hold is it for now?

My Dark/Rad missed out on that fine Synapse TF team by about one or two days play and I still have that Fire/Rad troller kicking around (Dark Therapy and Radical Vixen - levels 12+10 I believe).

He he welcome to Union Spad! Now you starting to colonise my territorial home server instead of me invading yours.

Should have come to me first ofcourse. I think im in 5 or so SGs with various alts atm, so i just might fix you up somehow. I think i even know 1 or 2 that you'd like. Mature players with a good sense of humour and little [censored] and with some low lvl activity as well. You got me on global, so if inclined gimme a shout.

Also the 1 AT Armoured Core (Tankers) might be a good pick for you ultra original tanker man. It has quite some low lvl activity going in the whole coalition now i believe. I'm in SNHS (defenders) myself and i see quite some low lvl requests flying by in coa chat.
