I'm pretty new to the whole MMORPG thing. I'm still trying to get my head round the whole concept of what is a good build. The main aspect of PVP that puts me off is the lack of segregation between various skill levels (not to mention the childish over the top comments of some players). My main toon is only level 32. It's more likely for me to come up against someone in my level range who's maybe got a whole account of various toons. The idea of getting my butt kicked on a regular basis by more experienced players just doesn't do anything for me....
Old school Street Fighter 2 on the Super Nintendo however (showing my age)....

I'm getting close to outlevelling the first respec so am looking to do this tomorrow (Thursday 6th) with my level 31 tanker who has dellusions of being a scrapper.Anyone interested post here or send a tell in game to @powermage.

Finishing work early today so am looking to do one of the following TF's this afternoon around 3pm. Whichever generates the most interest really as....

Positron (lvl 10 -15)
Citadel (25-31)
First Respec (24-32)

or if anyone has unlocked them:

Hess (25-30)

Did this TF with two of my toons recently. With ghosting on some mishes we got it done both times in under 5hrs. One of those was with a team of 5 dropping to 4 after the first couple of mnishes (there's always one isn't there?). I'd be interested bringing my lvl 11 DM/Reg scrapper if it was starting earlier. To be honest, a 10pm start is past my bedtime on a school night....Have to be in work at 5am GMT Wednesday.

Hi - my girlfriend is on her first character and has just got a respec at level 30. Her toon's a claws/inv scrapper. Has anyone got any good build suggestions? I've had a trawl through the forums and couldn't find a thread with the neccesary info. Not having done a respec either myself yet, I have been of no help whatsoever....Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

What sort of low level are we talking in the coalition?This may be a good time to get my scrapper up and running.....

Whew - that was lucky. Started reading this post as you'd mentioned the Manticore TF:
We did this last night -check
We had someone afk at the beginning - check
I was the only Tanker -nervous check (didn't recall complaining as I'm only just level 30 myself).

Then I noticed the time of the post and realised it wasn't us as we didn't start til 19:30. Huge sigh of relief and knot in stomach dissipitating... Our group was really friendly - that was once I realised that me using hand clap to grab villain aggro was mostly gaining aggro from my troller team mates trying to use AoE's...very quickly moved to my 3rd power tray.
I too have had a similair experience having agreed to do a TF the other Saturday at 3pm. Got sent a tell at 2:30 saying they were going early. I was only about 5 mins away and after quitting my active mish and heading over was sent another saying they'd just started. Was really cheesed off as not only had they changed the original time, they didn't have the decency to give me the chance to get there!! - I feel your pain brother....

What sort of level are you at the mo? I'm currently running a couple of toons simultaneously around the 28/32 range and am toying with actively playing a level 7 scrapper I started (no SG affiliation yet for him). Both of my higher level toons (I use the term "higher level" loosely) are in the NBR. I often team with NatureGirl (also NBR)who's currently round the 30 mark. Along with Trill Stranger (mid 30's), I think we're the only active toons not in the 40/50's range.
As mentioned in other posts the groups not too active at the mo with most playing CoV, but with the coalition I find it quite easy to get in teams for TF's and mishes most nights - Often find myself hooking up with similair level toons from LLOD via the coalition, who also seem to be on most evenings.
Also once you join an SG you stop getting all those naff blind invites to join one which is nice

Unfortunately for TF's you have to be within the level range or it wont let you start. However, Logie is looking to get a regular TF group going so it may be worth checking in with him from time to time on the forums or in game...

I'm totally with you on this - The amount of times I've had to abandon a TF due to drop out's is so frustrating. Even worse when you've spent half an hour standing round while people procrastinate whether or not to join. No matter how many times you explain it's a 3/4 hour committment before you start there's always at least one who pipes up after an hour saying they didn't realise how long it was and drops....
Anyway rant over - MBar's only doing the Freedom Phalanx Tf's and you've already missed the 1st three (Positron,Synapse,Sister Psy).So he wont be doing the likes of Moonfire or Hess either. I however would be really keen to join you on the regular TF idea. Week nights are best for me -except Tuesday's. The link below has a list of all the TF's up to level 40 and I'd happily trudge through them with you - even the ones I've already done!

Anyone have a rough estimation on how long this TF is? I'm reckoning 3.5/4 hours but am not too sure...

Pooh - I'm out tonight.About Saturday if anyone fancies it then though..... Also - might I suggest, best to get a team together within a tight level range as the last mish to defend the reactor is nigh on impossible if you're a 24 and someone else at say level 30 pulls up the enemy level with them.. There's no trips to the hospital allowed and awakes are of no use due to the constant enemy onslaught. Hope you have fun!

As Mbar is running the Sunday TF run this weekend on Citadel (25-31)- thought I'd try to get a team together for Moonfire. It's level 23 -28 so any toons that aren't quite in the 25-31 range for citadel may want to sign up...Looking to start at 7pm this Friday. Post here or meet at Moonfire (located next to Ravenstorm) in Striga Isle around 7pm.
Should take about 4 hrs I reckon with a balanced team..

Yes - I'm sure drinking was all you'd been doing...

Gutted to have missed it! I was in the B team during the Sister Psy TF so I think we finished about 45 mins after you guys (Lag issues and a suspicious "desire" for frequent snack breaks). If you do something similair after the TF next weekend send me a tell in game - always keen! (@Powermage).
