fire/mace i'm guessing, never heard of one before 
i've never seen an Inv/SS 
then again, least played... fire or ice, with mace or axe i think.

Overall, probably Ice primary and Mace/Axe secondary.
Recently, however, there seems to have been a sharp increase in the number of Ice tankers, so Fire is probably the least popular primary "of the moment".

Though I have never seen a.....
Invun/Mace before.
Though tbh the weapon sets are fairly uncomman. Most people go for the elemental sets.

Inv/Mace was Tech Tower in the Beta 
Got to mid 30s when the beta ended, and thought I'd try another attack. Not that I had a problem with Mace, just I didn't like the mace itself. I thought it could have been more.. I dunno. Intimidating, perhaps.

Well my Ice/Stone tank is fun right now I think I'll level him a bit more and see how it goes.
I really don't like the fire sets, so I'm not gonna bother with them. There's a... stigma... attached to them, that I would rather not sully myself with.

I believe there are about 4 inv/mace lvl 50s in english servers, me and generalissimo_2 being on defiant.. ice/mace prolly is the rarest combo..

I have the same problem with the axe.. I made an Ice/Axe tank thinking it'd be great to go round hacking things up with a big axe.. what do we get.. a little one handed cheese knife.. Would like to see it replaced to something bigger, like the size of a stone mallet

Yes, it kind of annoys me too that weapons like the Axe and Broadword are always used with only one hand. Get both hands on it and ut some force into it, you wuss!

I know of 2 Invun/Mace in AoW
I haven't seen very many low level (15-30) Fire tanks anymore
*waving redglowy hands of a fire tanker lvl30*
But i am quite fed up with the fire tanker, became big time squishy and having massive endurance problems

I would happily play another mace tanker from 1 to 50. Mace is a good set at attracting and holding aggro. It is also a good set at mitigating damage through the use of knockback and disorient. It is however a poor set at dealing damage and it is also a poor set to solo with below level 20. If someone was starting a new tank and they wanted to build their character as an aggro-attracting, aggro-holding team protector then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend mace to them. If they wanted to build it as a damage dealer I would laugh and tell them to look elsewhere.

AKA "The Rubber Mace".
It looks a bit silly and it's secondaries are (mostly) minor stun and knockback; a bit of a late developer as well - none of which endears it to the tanker crowd.
Not to mention the sound it makes when it hits your poorly opponents... Took a toon upto lvl23 with it, by then i was totaly fed up with it.
Now thinking to make a inv/axe or fire/axe tanker :P

There seems to be a surge in the Ice/Axe combo. I have to say getting to 50 with this setup has been the most fun I've had on COH, bar trying out a squid for the first time.
So I rolled a little tanker over the weekend, an Ice/Stone, because I hadn't seen one before (though now The Spad has a post on the union boards that he has made one there too, doh!).
What is the least used primary and secondary Tanker sets? I was hoping to check the union level 50s list and go from that, but the server wasn't working last time I tried it.
