Do warshades dream of respeccing powers
I wouldn't recommend respecing nova form out. It has most of the damage, and with the right use of your human powers, it can outdamage a blaster.
In addition, read my tri-form guide for having a Warshade,

I have been told it can really help in building a warshade and it sure did help a lot of my friends.

WS presented by Double is the best AT currently you can dream of, it simply is the new fire tank. Solo 8-man spawns ? Yes, you can.
Triforme WS can, on the same mob, do, in that order :
1) disorient most of them
2) take the alpha strike of those who weren't disorientated
3) buff themselves to reach damage cap
4) OS yellows, two-shot yellow and orange, with no misses
5) + mega-damage from pets
Providing you're in a big enough group.. (it seems for me 4 teammates is the vital minimum to make my WS really outshine everyone else in the group).
I'm pretty deceived by the soloability, though, even after the pets, there aren't enough mobs to be self-buffed...
Human Form warshades are doable, they're just very challenging until you get into your mid-late 30s.

Thank you, that guide seems to very good, and i have already taken the same power at lvl 16 as it tells, exept swift runspeed, but i can fix that with respec if needed.
Wont WS need stamina at all? I know that end hasnt been a problem at all, but will it be at higher lvls?

I agree. People said it before me and i'll repeat them: You cannot expect to solo as fast as a scrapper when facing 3 enemies at once. However, facing 6-8 (and more) minions and LTs, and even Bosses, is really easy. The more enemies there are around you, the easier you can kill them all.

I didn't - except for *those* cases (end draining mobs, disappearing bodies such as ghosts, wisps...) You can pretty much waste everything in nova form, pop over to human, find a good location to run the Stygian Circle and you are back up with full HP and Endurance. This is, of course, if you can find enough dead bodies closely packed. During the end-game, if you are going to respec Nova form, you don't get the endurance recovery bonus you usually get from the Nova itself, and so stamina could be fitted in - later in the game - because Stygian Circle does recharges 30 seconds and we all know how much endurance you can waste in 15 seconds.
Any other questions will be answered in no time, so don't be afraid to ask.

if you go human-only though, i'd suggest you get stamina. In tri-form or bi-form end is not an issue cause dwarf and nova got "built-in" stamina and you got stygian circle to recover end from 'arrested' villains. Though I'm not sure bout the end cost of human-only powers so I'd get stamina just to be sure, especially if you (as double said) face alot of enemies with disappearing bodies so you cant use styg circle.

I'd get stamina as a human only WS without ever thinkin, if you run all the toggles to keep you alive(3 shields, shadow cloak, acrobatics and maybe Oppressive Gloom)you'll need stamina otherwise you'll be drained of end before killing a single foe to use Stygian Circle on..

Completely OT, but whenever I see this subject truncated in the forum list, my brain keeps trying to fill in a warshade equivalent of electric sheep. It's like a song stuck in my head.

Not just you. Currently I'm going with electric squids, although electric voids also works.
Dead Calm's Defender Manifesto
Electric voids? Oh, the nightmares!
My latest is umbral sheep.
My WS is going to be tri-form, although im not sure how will i get all the slots worked out, and maybe i just respec to all human after lvl 40, but thats a long way to go cos im only lvl 18 atm.
I'm going to do something similar with my PB, although keeping tri-form. With ED, the slot-deficiency is eased a bit I think. I still won't have enough slots to make a viable Human form until level 40 (keeping my others optimally slotted).
my shade is at lvl 33 and i respected out nova form at 30 as for me its just far to squishy, my human, dwarf, shade performs great and ive taken more controller style aproach to the whole thing and seem to be amounting alot less debt this way, my dwarf form is just for panick situations at the moment but probably be alot more use after 40 i think
I don't find my nova especially squishy... you sort of learn how long it takes for mob to respond after you've launched a huge cone attack. Cone attack and then immediately Dwarf is pretty indestructable. If I'm solo I can normally afford to chuck out my second AoE attack as well as the mob size is smaller.
I got to 50 with a very squishy squishy (Kinetics Defender), so I'm quite used to walking the line between "Godly" and "Dead".
I'm noticing my shade definitely feels squishier than my pb at the same level (same nova slotting), whether it's a slightly lower damage output/recharge rate from the nova blasts, or just the different bad guys I face in the pb and ws arcs, but I did notice I was faceplanting a lot more (mostly the CoT missions where a +1 void spawns next to a +1 life mage)
Ah well, life will improve.

hmmmm im gona go with just a ws/pb tri form... i would love to be able to be squishy to tank in 2 seconds

Oh, Bio! Don't forget Eclispe!! U can squid form mobs at point blank range and never wince while its up!
Apart from the occasional mez
I am defo gonna keep squid, im just gonna change the slotting, i now have 5 slots in cone and aoe attacks, which is too much, either i will let them have 4 slots (with 3 dmg and 1 recharge) or just 3 dmg. This gives me some slots to use in my human form or dwarf attacks. Im quite disappointed the dmg that the dwarf does and want it to do more, lot more.

To have a decent attack chain while in Nova i had to slot my cone attack with 3 dmg 2 recharge and my AoE with 3dmg 1 recharge, I'm thinkin of adding a recharge in each power because there's too many gaps in the chain without hasten running.
The damage of the dwarf _is_ disappointing and he'll do naff damage all the way to 50(with Sunless Mire +Dwarf Mire you can have a decent damage output tho)but even with the attacks slotted his damage is really poor, in my dwarf I gave priority to Dwarf Drain as it increased my survivability a lot and then Dwarf Mire, the Smite and Strike in dwarf form are really pants as damage(and I have both 5 slotted 1acc, 3dmg, 1 rec redux).

well CoT will be your bane as a WS cause iirc they got some nifty neg energy resistance, hence you do less damage. Once they got spawns full of nerva demons and earth casters I almost gave up soloing those mishes on my WS, got whupped as squid and as dwarf the acc debuffs and slows + neg energy resistance meant I couldnt hurt em. Though this led me to my current solo-tactic: use dwarf to tank, while your pets do the damage, the tricky part is gettin that first pet out to start doing damage.

yea.. i remember those ones.. what a christ-nightmare!
Well, i finally hit 50 and started the my very first warshade. It was far more complicated than i have thought and i soon found out that i have no idea what powers to take. First i thought i would be cool to build human WS from ground up, but soon was told that this is not possible. Or its possible but not very effective. So i took dark nova. Now i know what i want, just dont know how to do it. gonna build human/dwarf or all human WS. Was thinking of having dwarf for those dodgy situations where i need more defense and could turn into melee dmg/ tank. So 75% human 25 % dwarf.
I am now lvl 16, getting closer to dwarf form. And i could really use your advice, when i should respec nova out, what powers i need to take, how to slot them etc. Thank you.
