Deceive: Adventures of an Ill/Rad
Some of my Favorite decieve targets are skyraider engineers for Forcefield Generators, Rikti Conscripts for Accelerate Metabolism, Rikti guardians for bubbles, and Banished Pantheon Avalanche Shamans for Earthquake
My personal favorite Confusion story was throwing Mass Confusion onto one of those little groups of a Warrior cowering from a group of Freaks you see all over Talos. The Warrior completely wrecked the Freaks in moments.
Kadabra Kill in midnight arc (or any enemy with a singularity pet)
Longbow spines warden (so much fun that you don't care about all the experience you're about to lose... just don't let your team know why you're laughing maniacally.)
Any cimeroran boss/lieut so they buff you with their shout(s)
My favorite, bar none, is Council Adjutants. The ones with the martial arts kick. Seeing them turn around and one-shot their minions right in the head is priceless.
I team with the Repeat Offenders.
I mention a few of them in my Ill/Rad guide, in the long section on Deceive strategy. I love using Deceive on BP Shamen, both Storm and Avalanche.
SAPPERS!
I have been successful at Deceiving AVs a few times . . . it takes stacking it a lot just when the purple triangles drop. Then they turn around and use their Alpha Strike to wipe out their minions all around them.
Anytime I'm standing around, waiting for the rest of the team to show up, I like to see what I can stack Deceive on. I like to put it on two Lts near each other, then take bets on which one will win.
LOCAL MAN! The most famous hero of all. There are more newspaper stories about me than anyone else. "Local Man wins Medal of Honor." "Local Man opens Animal Shelter." "Local Man Charged with..." (Um, forget about that one.)

My favorite confusion moments/targets:
* Rikti Comm Officers. They open their portal, the guys come out, and immediately start wailing on the portal itself, and the comm officer who summoned them.
* Sky Raider FFGs. 24% defense bubble.
* Paragon Protectors (bosses). Some of those guys will do a BIG number on their buddies. I saw one haul off and crack his friend (another PP boss) with Total Focus. Took about half his health with one shot.
* CoT Ruin Mages. They drop earthquake, and it starts bouncing them around.
* Banished Pantheon Death Shaman. They sumon their undead, who turn around and start beating on them.
Basically any pet-user is a fun target for deceive. I love making mobs fight, and when they summon "allies" who turn out to beat the stuffing out of them, it's even more fun.

50: Bot/FF, Bot/Dark, Ninja/Trap, Merc/Pain, Necro/Dark, Thug/Dark
Works in Progress: Thug/TA, Merc/Poison, Thug/Pain, Ninja/Pain, Thug/Storm
Not Deceive, but seeing how Confuse is a clone of it...
I was playing my level 14 Mind/Emp controller in a group doing Invincible radio missions. At the end of the mission we came across a massive 14-16 strong enemy spawn. The team, which had been steamrolling nonstop until this point, stopped in their tracks.
Someone pointed out, "3 (Vahzilok) Embalmed (Abominations)."
I used Confuse.
A second later, someone else says, "Not anymore."
A few times I have managed to wait6 long enough and stack up enough mag of deceive to got Romulus in the ITF to not only turn on his Nictus AVs, but actually killl all three of them one by one. This is the 4th/last mission.
Infinity:
Ellen, 50 MA/Inv Scr
February Night, 14 Ice/Ice Blstr
Guardian:
SilverSwordmaid, 29 Kat/Rgn Scr
Vicious Killer, 33 Emp/Enrgy Def
Electromagness, 40 Rad/Rad Def
Sense of Humor, 50 Fire/En Tank
Virtue:
Kickfest, 50 MA/SR Scr
Freedom:
Glorious Ending, 29 EM/DA Bru
At lower levels I'd have to say confusing/charming the embalmed is the most fun. At higher levels I tend to confuse the lower enemy to take the "alpha" at the higher mobs.
Sappers, Tsoo Sorcerers and CoT Mages and anyone who summons a portal/pet to turn on them is fun too.
...just sayin
Vazh mortificators. They will kill their friends, rez them, and them kill them again.
Arctic Air loaded with a Contagious Confusion proc, in a map filled with enemies who use gang war. Only really possible in the AE, but an incredible sight.

Nice! Its about time, too. I wish there were some actual good warrior stories, and I mean primary stories, not just little side things where you run into a few in an arc here or there.

Deceive is such great fun.
Rikti Guardians: me buff you long time.
Rikti Comm Officers: they get beat up by the guys they summon.
Shield Drones and such: bugagaga, free extra defense.
Annoying mastermind-type custom enemies in AE: let's see how long you last against your own minions.
And, as a bonus, I love to set up battles royale between random street spawns.
Without Deceive, my main wouldn't be half as fun.

One of my favorites to Deceive is still Clockwork King. He seems to always start off with his nuke on his minions, haha.
Another is Dr. Aeon in Statesman's Task Force. Soon as he's confused, he summons his clones who all proceed to beat on him and each other.

I've been playing around with Deceive to see what types of little battles I can instigate, and how enemy factions attack each other.
I thought I'd cobble together some fun in game results of Deceive.
Some highlights so far:
In Croatoa, against Witches, the Lt.'s and Bosses (I think both, have to relog and try) spawn Thunderstorms. Once I confuse the Witch, the Thunderstorm turns on them and attacks them with lighting bolts.
Against Tsoo Sorcerers, when there is a pair of Deceived Sorcerers and their health gets low, they will begin chain healing each other, blocking Deceives power. But they keep going, as if they are protecting each other.
Anyways, as I have been messing around with Deceive, I thought I'd ask, what are some of the best effects you've seen so far?
