Craftable Mini-Wings and Such?

For some reason, I thought one of the insect wings were small as well; guess not.

I think you may be thinking of the fairy wings - smallish butterfly looking things. Bigger than cherub, smaller than angel/demon.
My scrapper doesn't need an AoE. She IS an AoE.

Last I checked, the Insect wings were bloody humungous. Or they seemed like it at least 
But anyways, the larger mini-wings is a moot point. Just wait for the Vet ones, and your wish is granted! However I am 110% on board the idea of cosmetic Jetpacks.

On the male and huge models, the Insect wings are larger. The Cherub wings are also larger on male and huge.

Either by crafting, unlocking or otherwise; wing sets that mimic some of the available shield sets from Shield Defense:

etc.

Done in the right color combination, Valkyrie with Armor wings can be steampunkish. But yeah I do agree, more options for stuff.
Little draconic wings, for instance. or ones which don't have those awful spots on them...

SOMEtimes they look great. Others... not so much. There are so few people with the ability to put "natural" looking colors on those things. So you get yellow and green, pink and black... *shudder*.
An option for other patterns would rule, though. Stripes, snowflakes even...

I wonder why we don't also have a jet pack option. If ur tech any ya fly you should be able to have a jet pack as a costume option.
More options are needed.
Agreed. It's an almost constant request in Jays costume thread. Maybe when the Natural Booster pack comes out.
What *I* want is to be able to switch the attachment point of my wings from Shoulder to Hip.
See, I was letting my mind wander all over, and I realized that humanoid wings, from a balance and physics and ease of use point of view, should sprout from the hip. I don't really want to go into it right now, but think about it- they so should!

I asked about this after the panel - not your idea specifically, however...
There are 20 "nodes" available for costume placement. Right now, 18 of them are in use. Each "node" is a specific area of the body - which is why we have "gloves" "shoulders" etc - those are each a separate area which can be used to place things.
In order to place your wings on your hips it would have to be a belt option.
(My suggestion was, to get different stuff like elbow and knee pads as well as tails + belts at the same time, why not "fill a node" with accessories - but that is NOT possible with the current engine for costume creation so I am told by the head honcho.)
