Server down?

Actually, they show as Down if you are looking at todays date. The Server Status page gets into a loop and shows Jun 24 data. Refresh the page several times watching the date in the lower right corner of the list of servers.
Regular server maintenance is scheduled for Monday and Friday mornings.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

Your not the only one, servers were up, could not login, then the servers were listed as down. Now they are listed as up and I still can't login. Never had problems in the past with my router or firewall so I am not sure what is going on.

Servers are down for maintenance. You will see when you refresh as long as it takes for it to show. Monday and Friday mornings is maintenance time.

Make all IO's available in Paragon Market! NCSoft, the chinese are making BIG money selling influence and other stuff in the game. Best way to stop them = make the paragon market a place to buy all IO's and perhaps other things as well.
How long are the maintenance times?
up to 2 hrs. most don't take that long though.
Alright. I'm assume they start at 10am EST?
9 am est. so by 11 am est you should be able to get on.

BTW, the server status page on the main site has a glitch. It mostly shows the status for some day in June. If it says UP it's probably wrong.

Use to happen every work day. I wasn't aware it changed. When did this happen? Is there a link to the announcement?

[/ QUOTE ] My personal recollection puts it at well over a year and a half ago.. that's when the announcement I found a while ago was dated.
Now the page is dated this month.. I think they edited it to add something to the bottom:
"We appreciate your patience as we work during these time periods to provide our players with the highest quality of service in City of Heroes and City of Villains." I'm fairly certain that wasn't there before.

I will add a note about this. I am not taking anything away from his intention. I am sure we all appreciate his help. But server maintenance 'up to 2 hours' is not a hard and fast rule. The task is done to standard and not to time. Maintenance may take as long as it needs. Servers have been down for more than 2 hours before. There is no guarantee that it will take 'up to two hours'. Please be sure that when it's done, the servers will be up. I am just saying this so some of you do not end up calling or sending support tkts when you see the servers down for more than 2 hours, if you see them, on a maintenance day.

I havent tried to play CoX before noon in over a year....so I think it's my fault too.

I'm still having trouble connecting to the server, yet the page says that they're all up?
I connected fine just before maint but now its acting up.
Its giving me the thing that says I can't connect due to it either being blocked by a firewall or the servers are down.
I disabled my firewall and it still won't let me connect.
OK, now this is annoying, over the 2hr window and the status page shows up then down then up and down.... would some Tech please get their butt in gear and make up the system's mind as to if it's going up or down.

I am having the same issue. Site says srvers are up, my log in tlls me it cant connect to th game clint.
Yea gonna be on of the more than 2 hours days...oh well..
Can't get in and the 2 hr maintenance window has passed. What's up?

I just started CoH last night, and this morning I'm having trouble connecting. I can get online just fine, as you can see, but the game seems to be...having some issues. I looked at the servers, and the site said they were up so...is anyone else having this issue?
