8 man spawns tend to be very boss heavy, which is bad news for most MMs. MMs are better at slaughtering large numbers of minions and lts than picking apart spawns with 4 bosses and a meager handful of support characters.
My MM has no problems with bosses in mobs so long as their not +3.
But maybe that's because I usually play /Dark, /FF, /Traps, and /Pain.
I still think Bot/FF is unkillable, regardless of the number of bosses. I don't forsee it being able to solo very quickly, though.
Bot/traps is a different story. Still softcapped defense on all your bots, but plenty of tricks (-res, -regen, -speed, immobilize, +regen) to make the fighting go much faster.

No votes for */storm then.....duoing with a m8 on one atm...both of us are thug/storm, and it seems fairly powerful atm.
I'll have to try this on my Thugs/SS. My Bots/FF was levelled before the tankerminding craze, and as such isn't as unkillable as he should be.

Extreme Masterminding would be having no secondary powers with all the main MM attacks and several Pool Powers.

Well, I'd think you could take secondary powers as long as you took all of your primaries. If you were gonna do it, Thugs would be the set to use I think. Gang War is a decent power at 18 and the 3 pistol attacks are ok (by Mastermind standards).
With I16 we will have the option to set the missions for an 8 player part and 4 levels up. To me, this sounds like a challenge built for a MM to solo. I have a bad feeling that my Thug/Poison would get mashed in there, so I might have to level up one of my MM alts. But which one?
Bot/FF is probably the best bet, but I think my eyes would bleed from trying to play it. What MM's do you guys think would be the best for Hard Mode COV?
