I'm happy to pay out each month for CoH; what I've already got, I still enjoy. And getting power customizations is pretty darn cool, and certainly worthy of an issue's focus in my opinion.
I hope it won't end with 16... I hope they'll do more about letting costumes alter animations. I'd love to have a Hardsuit that actually works for my Electric/Energy Blaster.

I kinda think it will have the opposite effect.
The only reason I would ever invite lowbies on my farms would be to fill the team so I could get larger mob spawns. With this new feature, theres no longer that need to PL 7 other people to attain the rewards I was after.
So in regards to MY farms...FAR less lowbies will be PLed.

I never thought of it like that. So I guess in some instances it might mean less pl's as far as those that pl other peoples lowbies out of pure convenience to have a full team to do it. There is still a huge population of people that pl their own lowbies that suddenly got handed an "easy" button.
Not that I am complaining because personally I don't care what others do with their 15 bucks, I just find the irony of this after all the PL nerfs to be funny.
I will admit now with this convenience of being able to spawn huge maps without needing fillers I will probably farm my demon map occassionally when I am bored or its odd hours and no one is on to play with.

I-16 looks like a giant can of awesome.
As for brain-hurting color combos, most people's costumes are well behaved, I have faith that most players won't be douches.
So, if you have a team of 8 people, all set to spawn as if they are on a team of 8, is that like spawns sized to a teamsize of 64? 
Finally we might be able to crank it up to 11 and get some challenge that's been missing in PvE for years.

Regarding the difficulty thing, yes, it will be awesome, no more people asking for fillers, and I would say yes, there will be less newbies powerleveled, as they won't be required anymore for mob size increasing. The flipside of this, it will create more people who simply don't team anymore, because they no longer need to for the challenge of larger, higher difficulty mobs.
I also think that the markets will be flooded again, as, by my personal experience, you get more drops on a mission set for 6-8, when there are only 1-2 people in the mission. People will have excess salvage and excess recipes. My thoughts anyway.
Now, power customisation. I hope we can choose the animation we want for the powers aswell, but I'm not holding my breath. I think the people who are most happy about this, are people who have EM, and can finally get rid of those pink power pom poms. I'm also hoping we can change the colour of pool powers. I REALLY hate the effect of hasten and super speed.

Yes but with scrappers 50% higher base damage, AAO, and crits, it will still be insanely fun!
I'm wondering if they'll let Lightning Rod crit since, to my knowledge, Shield Charge can not. I'm looking forward to Traps/* Defenders and power customization most, myself.
Shield Charge isn't a primary attack though, Lightning Rod would be ... comparatively:- Lightning Rod and say Spine Burst ... both are PBAOE ... one just has a teleport effect aswell. But that's neither here or there...

Lightning Rod and Shield Charge are not attacks. They are pet summons, have pet dmg caps, and cannot crit.
What are the pet damage caps, anyways?
The same as trollers, fenders, doms, MMs, tanks, pbs/ws, and veats

Why make moves to nerf pl maps such as the old Tv map on villain side, or the amount of xp fam gives if they then turn around and give easier ways for people to pl in another issue.
Personally I think its great because I like to test my ability on my toons and spawn maps of 8 for the fun of it, so yeah its great for me. However 90% of the people are not going to use it for that purpose, we know it, and so do they. So seems kind of weird to offer it based on what their stance has always appeared to be on pl's.

I doubt that will happen anyways , I am quite sure they will be adding the map spawn sizes to AE as well, which will make an already epedimic problem, far worse.
