Double XP and AE
We don't know.
But I hope not.

Will AE missions also get double XP rewards and double Influence rewards?
[/ QUOTE ]
Since AE missions don't get Patrol XP, I would be surprised if AE missions got Double XP.
Put me in the "I hope not" camp.
New story arcs coming soon (ARC IDs will be aded when I finish the arc):
So, you want to join the Hellions? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)
Sparks & Steel (level 5-20 Heroic arc)
and
So you want to join the Skulls? (level 1-14 Villainous arc)
If Paragon Wiki is right, NO ONE gets patrol XP on a DXP weekend.

Not everybody, true. Which is why we can't justify nuking the middle east to put a huge dent in terrorism.
But unlike my poor analogy, I'd say 90% of the AEers are farmers.

Yes, but 73.591% of all internet statistics are pulled from places that are dark and smelling of feces (see: made up).

In my defense, I did use the phrase "I'd say" to denote that I had nothing to base my value off of.
And to be honest, your statement holds true for ALL statistics, not just those found on the internet.

And I'd say you're delusional. The farmers are a minority, just an obnoxiously visible one.

Well, except for the ones where they run actual polls and have something, flimsy or not, to base their number off of. Or the ones where they have solid, measurable set of numbers of the whole picture.

You're missing my point. His statement was that out of all internet statistics, a percentage are made up. I was saying that a percentage of all statistics are made up.
Many statistics, even ones with "actual polls" and "solid measurable sets of numbers" can be completely false.
There was a time in history where the republican presidential candidate was predicted to win by a landslide, but lost the election. The "extensive" polling was done by phone, and they looked for phone numbers based on the license plate registry. This was during a time where owning a phone and a car was rare, so they only polled the richer population, which is heavily republican. Just one example of poor sampling.

Well, when I say "solid measurable sets of numbers", I mean like "This box has 33 red marbles and 67 blue. 33% of the marbles in this box are blue".
And, yes, statistics from survey polls can be wrong. But that doesn't mean that they're just made up, which is the statement I was countering.

Except for the fact that polls can be easily manipulated to provide a desired result. Just about any set of statistics can be either manipulated or "interpreted" in a biased fashion.
This is why critical thinking skills are so important in our modern world.

Or easily manipulated. DV statistics are so high because they use the words "any FEAR of abuse," meaning more women are saying they FEARED being abused, when none happened, ever.

Oh, sure. You can "stack" the survey group. Still, there is something other than just pulling numbers out of one's buttocks going on there.

Don't forget besides selecting the poll group to get a desired result, there is also wording the questions asked in a manner that will increase the chance of getting the desired results.

Err, right, just noticing a mistake I made in the quote up there. 33% are red. Anyway, you're twisting my example into a totally different scenario there.

Mostly everybody is going to be farming anyway, AE or regular missions, so I don't see what's the big deal.
Though imagining the xp you would've been able to get if they had double xp when AE was first introduced is scary.

We're off point by now, though. The point wasn't whether statistics could be manipulated. It was whether they were simply being pulled out of someone's buttocks.

No, we're way off point by now. The point was whether the AE missions should have their rewards doubled.

Well, someone had made the point that Patrol XP doesn't get awarded in AE, so then DXP shouldn't either.
I proved that the two were independent.
