only 24 hours, and 24 minutes remain until i get to check it out!

its gonna be pretty sick seeing this at the 21+ theater, especially all the college girls that goto these in hogwart's schoolgirl's outfits, hawt.

Posted

if there are truly college women wearing Hogwart's schoolgirl outfits you must take pictures and post them. But only if they are hot and fill out those outfits good.

faldette, u should come over to my place we can car pool, cheaper on gas that way! i think ppl are planning to start drinking around 8pm, so we could definately use a designated driver, since you claim to have quit drinking after that last house party where you woke up in the front yard.

so yea last night faldette decided not to come over and be our designated driver so I drew the short straw and ended up the DD for the movie adventure.

on the way to the movie theater at 11:48 i got pulled over by a cop. it was a 4 lane road going downhill, the speed limit was 45 mph and where i got pulled over was literally 12 feet infront of a mph sign increasing the speed to 65 mph.

it turns out the cop who pulled me over had dated one of my roomies like in freshman year of highschool, i guess it ended badly because the cop ended up giving me a ticket for $120 bucks.

he asked you know how fast you were going? i'm like yea 45 mph, and he said no you were speeding, i said if i was it couldn't of been by much because you were able to pull me over. so i asked how fast was i going, and he said i was going 48 mph.

thats right i get pulled over on an avenue about to turn into a highway going downhill 12 feet before the speed changes to 65 from 45, because i'm going 3 mph faster than the posted speed limit.

in my expert opinon that cop is a [censored].

so we get to the theater at like 12:10, theres like 12 million ppl there so we had to park way up high and far from the door in the parking lot, when getting to the theater it takes us a while to find some seats, we ended up basically splitting into 2 groups as thats how crowded it was.

the movie was supposed to start at 12:01, but the projectionist messed something up because it started playling trailers with no video, so i call up the theater and let them know whats going on, so then the screen starts playing videos, its so out of focus it looks worse than a bootleg torrent. i call them back one more time and say "hey thanks for starting the movie, now do you guys mind focusing it?"

the manager comes into the theater and sees whats going on, so they shut the projector off, and rewind the blurry film and try to focus it, and it ended up actually starting up at about 12:50 or so.

The movie itself was pretty decent and there were a lot of subtle contexts in it, everyone seemed to like the movie fairly well.

with all the craziness of the night just getting to actually watch the movie, it didn't occur to me to take pics of girls in costume at the theater, but there were maybe about 5 or so, and of the 5 only 4 i would actually talk to at a bar without alcohol.

oh well, i guess i have to pay this speeding ticket for going 3 mph, this is some [censored].

I'd take it to court.

Toss in the fact that you're a male under 30 and that's a ticket every time. Hang in there for the next decade or so.

honestly doc i would fight that and explain in court where you were too if you go to court and the cop doesnt, they tpically throw those out of court but i am in california ... not sure where you are so not sure how picky the courts are where you are

Took the family to see the midnight showing as well. They loved it. Both my sons hadn't read this movie's books yet, so they were quite shocked by the results of the 'end' of the movie.

They enjoyed a few of the light-hearted scenes (Ron and his infatuations), and most definitely liked and laughed at Harry's actions after he chugged down the Luck Potion.

The particularly powerful 'end' event (Dumbeldorf) was as anti-climactic as it was in the book in my opinion, however, I think that's the feel the author and the director wanted to go with. The actor who played Malfoy finally had his moment in the sun with his 'show-down' with Dumbledorf; for once, it seems that Malfoy wasn't as evil as he was expected to be (my opinion of course).

To all wanting to see it, go see it! NOW! It was a terrific movie! I laughed! I cried! I got 3 hours of sleep before I had to go to work after this!

Enjoy!

My friend went to see the midnight showing. Halfway thru the fire alarm went off and they didn't get to see the rest. :-P

I laughed. (I don't know if they got a refund)

Fight that [censored] ticket Doc. Better yet, you should have really made it worth the 120 bucks by getting lippy with the cop. It might not have been smart, but it would have been a great story

Glad the movie was good though.

Fight that ticket Doc! I bet the cop doesn't show up for court -- it wouldn't be worth his time, but it'll save you 120 bucks if he doesn't.

well i did hit him with some sacrasm and stuff as he was saying how i was speeding. but yea i've now gotten like 3 pms from ppl telling me to fight the ticket.

so i think thats what i'm going to do.
my roomie that used to date him got his work email from one of their mutual friends, so she signed him up for like 30 of those gay porn pic of the day messages to his work email, so he'll have to fend a few questions from his boss and his IT department at work as well.

Really enjoyed the movie. The kids loved it. At the end the

Hubby goes "WHAT that was not the end?!?"

The 10 year old goes "NO, dad..that was book 6. Book 7 is being split into TWO 2 1/2 hour movies"

Hubby goes "OH i could have waited for the video"

More amusing was the fact that my 11 yr old son told a "blonde" joke.
