NPC Stuff: Why do we want some?

I know that we all want some of the clothing, or weapons, that many NPC's have, even though the Devs have said that we can't have them for specific reasons ranging from Animation to Clipping, to other reasons. My question is, if the Devs have said we can't have such stuff, why do we keep asking for them? This isn't a Troll Post, or a Troll Thread, I'm just honestly curious about why we want such things, that's all.

Because some of the NPC costume items look interesting.

because we'd like to have them.

Just because there are or have been technical limitations for stuff doesn't mean that we can't want it.

Because we might get versions that we *can* have?

Just a guess.

In the history of this game, there are many things we were told wouldn't happen (or would be unlikely to happen) that have made it into the game in some form or another. Plus, one of the biggest pluses about this game is the character customization and, well, most people see certain NPC costume bits that they'd like to use and request we have them.

It's that simple.

Main Hero : Annilixxion -- Lv50 Blaster
Main Villain : Menkaura -- Lv41 Mastermind

Because if we keep on asking, they might just give in and let us have them. Think of it as a grass roots campaign.

Because Ring Mistresses/Succubi have the niftiest boots in the game.

Because it's human nature to want what we can't have, for instance I want Megan Fox and lady Ga Ga in my bed at the same time, my wife tells me this is never going to happen.

Doesn't stop me from wanting it though, mans gotta dream, right?

As I get higher in levels I see some interesting things. PPD Bot models, Zenith Bot Models. Some of the Nemesis costumes and content designs.

Makes me wish that we could choose a design set for henchmen as an MM. However with that comes more complications. Coding the abilities to match diff models would definitely be a lot more work.

Doc Mech-Nec (Exalted): 50 Bots/FF MM
Crey Radiation Tank (Exalted): 50 Rad/Rad Corr
Servers: Exalted, Triumph, Champion

Because many of my characters have been written into the lore of the game. They are former members, associates and/or friends with some of the NPC gangs and their members. They should have the gear to appear so.

Also, because a couple of my characters are shape shifters who can take on any humanoid form. They should be able to look like anything in the game.

Mostly for RP reasons alone.

Once upon a time, we were told we can't have power customization of any sort.

The devs only tell us we can have stuff when it's already done, so as not to give out false promises. If we only asked for stuff they said we can have, we wouldn't be asking for anything at all.

So, we keep asking, because we want stuff. And the only stuff worth asking for... is the stuff we don't already have!

The devs have given us NPC costume pieces, or at least modified versions. The Enforcer set is a modified version of the PPD Hardsuits, one of the coolest looking NPC groups in the game.

No. No. NO.

Enforcer, all but the visor and gloves, is crap.

The boots make no sense.

The PPD stuff is an exosceleton, the Enforcer is chunky.
