A great Vampire roleplay build?
dark/kin corruptor would be an interesting one

I'd go with a SS/Inv brute. A brutal viscious killer with no angst or remorse. I know, shocking, but I think it's a neat idea to make a vampire that kills people and drinks blood. I'd certainly be unique.

Truth.
I remember when vampires were unholy monsters who fed on humans like cattle. Nowadays they're sparkly teen sex symbols. Next up: Zombies in love!
...Oh wait, that was Resident Evil: Apocalypse.
The off-beat space pirate...Capt. Stormrider (50+3 Elec/Storm Science Corruptor)
The mysterious Djinn...Emerald Dervish (50+1 DB/DA Magic Stalker)
The psychotic inventor...Dollmaster (50 Bot/FF Tech Mastermind)
Virtue Forever.

Hate to break it to you we had zombies in love way before sparkly vampires.
My vampire is more ethereal, Dark Melee and Dark Armor.
He has a costume change where he is a slick suited vampire, and then transforms into a brute beast, wings, with torn clothing.
His mode of travel is super jump, and during combat he jumps all over the place with great speed using combat jumping and hurdle. (seems the most vampire way to engage in combat).
It was made before willpower came out, but willpower is probaly the best choice because it's more about making you strong, difficult to kill, and most importantly it doesn't cover up your look.

Fiery Aura, as a consequence of standing out in the sunlight. I've actually seen this one done; he was an old, powerful vampire who was too tough to die from sunlight, and was just burning all the time.
[/ QUOTE ]
That's possibly the most badass vampire ever.
A Necromancy MM strikes me as the Warhammer kind of vampire, though those are usually very powerful in their own right.

[/ QUOTE ]Did he shut off his toggles at night and indoors?
[/ QUOTE ]
Hey, it probably took him some time to stop smoldering.
Arc #40529 : The Furies of the Earth
For COV, Necro/Dark MM seems the truest for a movie 'head' vampire. Pity villains can't get mind control or illusions.

Hmmm ? Villains do have Mind Control.

With Vamps you have a ton of options open to you.
The fact that they can be ancient means you can go with drawn weapons from the times they were turned so all Scrapper, Brute and Tanker sets. In my case, I decided my vamp had spent the centuries poring over ancient magical texts and now uses magic almost to the exclusion of his super strength, so I made a Dark/Dark Defender.
With vamps there are so many ways to go, decide on your concept and have fun.
Feel The Burn
I've seen one done as a <something>/Dual Blades Tank.
My favorite is a friend's character, Emp/Dark heroine named Nurse Feratu.

I second that, what an awesome concept!

That's an awesome name, it earns the Claws and Effect seal of pun/wordplay approval!

Wow... It really is.
Make it a Dark Melee/Fire Armor Brute and you got yourself the most epic vampire ever!
not to nit pick but
The Burning Vamp kind of goes entirely against Vampire lore as Fire=bane of just about all undead.
Not even Cane (supposed 1st Vampire) can survive an attack from Fire
Your friend probably got the concept from Ann Rices character Lestat...in one of the later books Menmoch the Devil I believe; he tried to kill himself by flying really high when the sun had risen and found out that he can only get a really "Sexy tan" from the sun

I've seen that one around as well. I love when people are thinking outside the box.
