The Posi TF? Heck, I've Duo'd that with a Defender and Blaster. Before the Defiance changes!
I wouldn't even use any Nukes, Shivans, OR temp powers of any kind on it. There aren't any AVs in there, and the Vahzilok EB can be chewed up and spit out pretty easy. The biggest hurdle with that TF is the number of Defeat Alls it has. Instead of getting Nukes and Shivans, I'd get food and drinks. You could be there a while.
Nothing against RedTomax, but I prefer Paragon Wiki for my TF planning.

My husband and I duoed it with his plant/storm controller and my...oh, my God...I forgot what I brought >_<
But anyways, we logged it my second account and had my Illusion controller grant invisable when needed. We duoed it in about 3 hours even. We took a break at one point for a few minutes, I think.
since my gf and i want to get merits and the badge, do both of us need to be logged in the whole tf? i forgot if u just need to be in the last mish or not.

Yeah, all players will need to be logged in during the last mission (I would at least be there for the last two, to ensure smooth timing). Though if you're there the whole time, lots of Inf that way. And, if you're logged off, the character still counts towards the number of enemies you face, so you might as well be logged in and helping to kill to make it go faster. (in other words, a Task Force that has three players on it, with only one logged in, would still spawn the missions for all three players, as opposed to just the one)

Yep, you don't need any of that stuff. I regularly run Posi solo on a blaster. Most of the missions are ghostable boss defeats. Having stealth makes it much easier and faster.

If you took SuperSpeed, you also have some Stealth.
As an alternative to Stealth, you can use temp Phase powers to run past foes. They'll take pot shots at you (which won't hit) as you run past, but they won't follow if keep moving. Warburg patrol mission provide phase and there is the temp phase power, Ethereal Shift, on the Market.

You really dont NEED stealth for most of them.
Just keep moving, the Vahz and CoT lose aggro fast.
Clocks on the other hand will tend to keep following you.

My wife and I duoed it on an Ill/Storm troller and a BS/DA scrapper. If the two players involved are used to working together it will go pretty smooth most of the time.
I do NOT advise duoing Posi with a complete stranger.

I like bringing my FF/rad. It's fun and fast with a few AoE blasters, a tank or another buffer. I have all the team buffs plus fly and recall. Rescue captive, pop PFF, walk to door. My best time is just over 1.5 hours.
In a duo. I was on a team of 5 the other day. 2 trollers, 1 blaster, a scrapper and myself. Lost both the trollers by the end of first mish. The blaster was having connection problems. It ended up being the scrapper and I doing pretty much the rest of the TF. Took us 3 hours after all the BS.

There's a link above to the base empowerment buff to gain stealth. Check out the others you can gain. Many are very handy for the Posi tf.

Particularly slow resistance, increase attack speed, end drain resistance and increase recovery are very nice buffs for this tf. Ive never heard of sub 1 hour Posi runs, so you want need to recraft a time or 2.
Base empowerment buffs are so underrated. People will spend 300M inf to get 20% recharge (3 LOTGs) but not 3k inf to have the buff for an hour.
Dont let people poo-pooing the Shivan suggestion discourage you. No, theyre not needed at all, but theyll make things a lot faster for the defeat alls. Summon them at the first mob, then move on to the end of the floor and meet them halfway. The time they save may well be less than the time invested to get them in BB.
A friend and I run Positron about twice a week for the Merits. We have it down to an hour and a half regularly. It's mainly so fast because of my friend.
My friend has a Warshade that is used to stealth any stealthable missions. I play a Dark/WP Scrapper. The trick to doing it fast is stealth+Recall Friend.
Oh, and doing the Rollister mission correctly, of course, which can be horrible and terribly time consuming.
My reccomendation for Rollister is this: Have your stealther get to the first hostage and then teleport thier team mate to them. After that, wipe out all but one of the baddies around the hostage so that the hostage isn't freed yet. The stealther can continue on while the other person hits the nearest elevator to avoid that last standing bad guy.
After that, repeat with the second hostage.
Then, have the stealther teleport team mate number two to Rollister and his cronies and take them out. At this point, I pop a large purple and head out and take out the last mob on hostage two and hostage two will follow. Keep moving. Take out the last mob on hostage one and he will follow. Lead them out.
Done.
(Oh yeah, it's important that when you leave bad guys behind on hostages to make sure that they are easy to deal with bad guys. Not bosses.)
And that's it. The Rollister mission usually takes us about seven minutes or so.

Way overkill. I solo this, set for a team of 2 or 3, on my scrapper. The only thing I need to bring with me are Break Frees, since I don't get my mez protection until level 16.

im a lvl 50 wp/ss tank, fully IO'd out and my gf is a spines/fire scrapper. we are thinkin of doing the posi tf together and i wanted to know if u all had any suggestions for us.
we grabbed ourselves some shivans, a nuke (bio one), and currently doing flashback mishs to get some temp powers / toggle shields to help us.
is there any stealthable mishs, or mishs we should / shouldnt use our temp pets?
