5th Column TF *SPOILER*

So last night my GF and I ran with a team on the new 5th Column TF.

Overall it was pretty good, we had two Trollers both kin, one Grav the other fire, a Stone/Ice Tank... he had Jump Kick!!!... My GF's PB Adileh, and Shado-Strike.

It was a decent run, unfortunately it was on heroic so the only time I got close to dying until Reichman was on the renamed Nos. But at the end my AV Soloing came handy, the kins help speed it along.

We figured out with the two kins when my GF went to Nova, we had enough damage to chip away at Reichman... of course with the requisite ray gun to make him vulnerable.

The best thing of the night however was when Vanessa died, she gave me a gift, Hecatomb: Dam/Rech!
Finally a purple I could use, checked the Market 150,000,000 was the average price... looks like I need to make alot of money for the rest of the set!!

Heh, ran it yesterday and used my BS/SR Scrapper as the team's tank. Worked out really well, though I died three times to Reichs because, as I learned the hard way, he can stun through Practiced Brawler. I got stunned like that about eight times, and the three deaths I had was when I couldn't stumble away fast enough before he smacked me again while my defenses were mez suppressed.

I need to find out how high that stun magnitude is...

Figures. Next time I run it I'll make sure to warn everyone. At least that stun can be shaken off much quicker and doesn't cause something like 2,000 points of damage.

Yes they do. The toggles just don't drop.

Our team moved a little too fast. I had little time to read, people had to go to bed at the end. I barely even got to read what powers we got, and I died 4 times before everyone dropped. Failure. I wanna go again.

Loved the cut scene with his appearance.

The Red Side SF has the cut scene. The Blue Side TF does not.

I was thinking about taking a break from my VEAT to run this on my scrapper.

What do you guys think of the TF overall? So far I have only heard very "meh" things about it.

Blue side is okay for a relatively quick TF for easy merits.

Red side is much better, with a better story and presentation, and much more challenge. With some of the complaints saying that "it's too hard" or "it's bugged", I only wish that I could get my scrapper on the Red side version of it.

well soon you can...

I ran it last night, we generally had no idea what we were doing but still managed to muddle through it. I hate to say that next time i'll bring BF's but...Next time i'll bring BF's that stun got me more than a couple times.

We only ran with 6, 2 trolls 2 scraps a blaster and a tank. Could have used some more rad and more damage. You really have to lay the old HP debuff on him thick.

His incessant use of invulnerable is trying, i thought we had him so i pulled the stops hit all my clickies and wailed away at the last sliver, then he triggered invuln again and we had to wait for that to drop to finally kill him.

I think for an issue devoted to a new tf, its pretty lackluster. Yes the ending is cool, but the other 4 missions are pretty vanilla.

I ran it with my ma/sr, and a full team of 8, and I swear he was popping unstoppable every minute there at the end. Really annoying.

I say that they devs need to generic their own AV, as he coudln't look anymore like M.Bison from Street Fighter without actually being called that.

I tried it redside, but we had 8 to start, 1 quit during first mission, 1 kept dc'n so much that they were never there, so needless to say it was a bust.

...8 Man teams, 6 Man Failures...

You're all making this sound so...so...difficult.

Hoping Thursday or Friday night to Duo this (DM/SD Scrapper and a Fire/Therm Troller) just because there's five AV's in the end of the whole thing and me and a friend have been enjoying my insatiable ability to login to any random combination of level 50 and we go tear through AV's.

Difficult We'll see.

the TF is easy as cake if you get a few debuffers. The only problem Reichsman poses is his 100 mag stun attack because it gives him a second or 5 to hit you full strength with other attacks.

On test he used to hit unstoppable alot, but I didn't notice that in my two live runs thus far.

I am an ebil markeeter and will steal your moneiz ...correction stole your moneiz. I support keeping the poor down because it is impossible to make moneiz in this game.

Ran it on my DB/SR for the first time last night.

Last mission was interresting. Yes, I got the M.Bison feeling from the last guy, glad I wasn't the only one.

The other 4 AVs didn't seem that big of a threat (a scrapper and one controller was taking them down).

My real complaint about it. The XP is sucky. I like the ITF better.
