I just wanted to get some input on electric armor for stalkers from those who have played it. Love it? Hate it? PVE? PVP? If you can please provide some pros and cons based on its own merit that would be great. Im just trying to get a feel of what the journey would be like before actually starting the build. Oh and I was planning on taking elec melee as well.

Elec is probably the worst Stalker secondary for both PvE and PvP (it's also probably one of the worst Brute secondaries). The Brute version is at least somewhat workable because of Brutes' higher base HP and 90% resistance cap, but Stalkers don't have nearly as much HP and only a 75% resist cap. You're better looking elsewhere.

Middling Resist sets with no HP increase or Heal just don't work in this game. Defense sets like SR can get away with it because of the times when the damage misses, it is 100% mitigated. With Electric Armor, with ever single hit at least some of that damage always gets through and this can chew through even a Brutes HPs surprisingly quickly.

I've rolled it several times and have long since given up on it. It's pretty, but that's all that it is.

Once stalkers get War Mace, it can be STRONG and PRETTY.

Last person that picked Electric Armor as a secondary for their stalker got cancer.

Think about that.

"the reason there are so many sarcastic pvpers is we already had a better version of pvp taken away from us to appease bad players. Back then we chuckled at how bad players came here and whined. If we knew that was the actual voice devs would listen to instead of informed, educated players we probably would have been bigger dicks back then." -ConFlict

not as bad as /invuln would'a been for stalkers.

Wrong.

Ten times worse.

Invln wouldn't be all that bad, at least they'd get somewhat of a self heal through DP plus a little +defense..

So if one wanted to simulate a rickety little electricity-leaking robot, one would be better served making him an elect/elect brute than an elect/elect stalker?

Yes. Because then your rickety little robot can have unimaginable RAGE at his lot in life.

Electric Armor is definitely HARD mode for stalkers. I love it, but definitely would not recommend it as a casual project.

If your concept is a malfunctioning robot.. go Brute.

Thanks, I'm definitely not looking for a "challenge."
