Here's the latest team shot for The Minute Men - That's /my-NYOOT/, as in tiny. The SG is made up of all patriotic heroes of minimum height, based on the Liberty server.

That is just awesome. I'm loving the Minute Men.

Though I presently have no access to the screenshots(and will try to fix this soon), I have a Defender with a loosely New Zealand-themed costume, all black/silver/white, named MoonKiwi...if I can dig up the shots of her in the next few days, I'll try to toss them your way.

A nice, quirky and unique approach to the theme. Not at all surprising from the one known as SusieBot.

(I'm a big fan of your VirtueVerse pages)

I'd like to add my character to the mix

Safeguard

His name is Safeguard and he's the best of the best of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Thats him relaxing with a fellow Mountie, talking about home.

US Idol 1

US Idol 2

US Idol 3

She won the reality show "Lady Liberty's next sidekick" where 32 candidates were selected and had to prove themselves worthy of Lady Liberty.
Week after week, elimination after elimination, only one remained: The got the name "The US Idol" and had to be Lady Liberty's sidekick for one year before she could go on her own.

This looks perfect for one of my alts. I've had this guy since Shadowrush became level 50 in early 2006. He's a Filipino Peacebringer named Bandila. His name means "flag" in Filipino. So of course, his costume is inspired by the Philippine flag.

She wouldn't happen to go by the first name Rosie, does she?

(Yes, some of us do pay attention in history class.)

I've been browsing dA and playing this game for years and I've noticed that there are so many Pinoy who've created heroes with costumes based on the Filipino flag. There's alot of country pride for the Philippines I guess. ^_^ I'm glad I snagged Bayani early and made him my own.

Yikes, I guess I should make one... how un-pinoy of me.

If you do, make a female one and break the cycle! The only other Filipino heroine I've stumbled across on dA is "Panty Cat". Soooo yeah. Good opportunity there to stand out.

LOL I actually did make a female one... wish they had longer skirts. But at least I got the sleeves right... based on the classic female barong sleeve.

Yer coming home NOW!

Poor BAB... nothing beats the scorn of his woman, especially a filipino woman, ask my aunts... lol Oh and please excuse my attrocious Tagalog...

Considering that in many Filipino families I know, it's the dudes who stay at home, drink and carouse while the women are the bread-winners, I can see that happening. What's with the ugly club though? Rattan is so much more elegant. *pok pok*

I couldn't find anything close to a machete...

I used the Fantasy Blade (Broadsword) myself for the escrtma minions in my mission arc. It's somewhat similar to the moro barong blades and kampilans as I could get. The police batons work fairly well for escrima sticks too. WE should petition and demand the Filipino sun as an addition to to the costume creator. Those hokey neighbors to the north got their maple leaf and there's the hammer/sickle. *pokes around for requests*

That's the thing though. I've always thought Bandila is pretty unique actually, I have yet to see anyone in-game do a Philippine flag-based costume. I sometimes kinda hope to bump into some Filipino players on Freedom. Since I started playing, I've only met two other Filipino players on my server, outside of my brothers and a real-life friend. I don't really go looking around though.

I tend to miss things it seems. For example, even though I lurk the CoH forums almost everyday, I've actually only recently known of your existence, when you were doing those MA reviews. (It's probably because I rarely visit this art section.) And apparently, all this time, LadyJudgement is a filipina. Makes me wonder how many fellow Filipinos play this game. O_O
